Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Natchitoches

For what it costs, this place is awful. Small, cramped, rundown rooms with TVs that turn themselves on to show you ads. Save yourself the money and just stay at any one of the eight other hotels.

Very unprofessional staff! They are acting like they are the customer and you owe them something! Banging doors while cleaning, impossible to sleep during the day and they call you 5:00 am with stupid questions like “are you checking out today”!!! Just ridiculous! And still waiting for my receipt to arrive in my email, probably have to call them again. Although it’s not the hotel but the staff, Avoid this hotel !!!

Excellent service from Jeremy at Front Desk. Room was clean , breakfast was great and lobby was clean and well kept.

We didn't have hot water at night and the heat wouldn't work. Beds were comfy but we were close to the elevator which was noisy.

Average hotel. Has a gym. Large elevators. Great Hotel staff. Brought a bus with 30 kids and didn’t break a sweat! Great job guys!

The Fairfield Inn in Natchitoches Louisiana is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. I highly recommend this hotel. I've stayed here several times over the last couple of years and have been pleased at every visit. The Staff, past and present are very professional, friendly and helpful. There is always fresh coffee waiting for weary travelers in lobby. Breakfast is always plentiful with fresh fruits, strawberry's, hot omelets, sausage, bacon, yogurt, breads, bagles, waffles, cake, cereals etc. The rooms are always clean as is the overall hotel. Last November I was called by Fairfield after checking out because a maid found 15 dollars left in my room. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the staff that runs it, or the company Marriott and Fairfield that provide travelers with such a nice place to stay. Room never got cleaned once while staying here. Ask for service, get off of work and it still wasn't cleaned. First hotel in 8 years I've been to that doesn't have change for their own washers and dryers that take change. Stay in Alexandria if you're gonna be in the area.

We were greeted when we walked in the door. Very efficient check in . Very clean hotel Good breakfast. Received a courtesy call to make sure our stay was going great. Yes, our stay was great Check out was another great experience.

We want to commend the staff, especially Jeremy Wilson, on providing exceptional service! Early in the morning during breakfast someone accidentally caught a pastry on fire in the toaster. The fire alarms started sounding throughout the entire hotel. Confused guests all started heading to the lobby and then the fire dept showed up. We were in a handicap accessible room so the strobe light started flashing and wouldn't turn off. All through this, along with guests also trying to check out, Jeremy Wilson maintained his calm, and solved every issue that came along. Truly impressive! Every time he saw us for the rest of our stay he greeted us as friends, and that was truly wonderful! We will be back, for sure!

Convenient to seeing Christmas lights in December and local university.

The front desk person (whose name I wish I could remember) who just helped me a few minutes ago was amazing. It was clear he was busy, but he still got me everything I needed in under 5 minutes. Fantastic service, he should get a raise.
