The only classy gay bar in existence. There's also occasionally a pianist playing. Inexpensive drinks, so definitely worth the value.

A classic and elegant old money gay bar. This is where the piano plays as well dressed gay men of culture and money sing along. Its a terrific place to pick up sophisticated young attractive men who are clever at conversation. Love this place. Dont be sloppy, dress to impress and have a bit of decorum. If you want trashy, go to a Lower East Side dive bar.

Townhouse Amazing vibe and environment. I really enjoyed singing with Sarah, the pianist. I had a little misunderstanding with her but we communicate each other and everything is clear. Always bringing good vibes and love anywhere I go ❤️

Why anyone would choose this place is beyond me! I went there on my day off and was meeting a co-worker for quick drink and this very rude, nasty and bitter bartender with short brown hair and kinda tall in the front bar, says to me he won’t serve me and I said why? And didn’t tell me. So I go to the back bar and my friends comes and the bartender sent the manager back. He was asking me to leave, without giving me a reason and stood there watching me and taking pictures. So I left w/ my friend, who was disgusted by his behavior. I have heard numerous stories of other friends being kicked out for stupid reason as well. This place has some resentment towards black people, younger people, fun people, beautiful people, people in hats lol. It’s very bizarre this place. As someone who works in design and knows upscale, townhouse paints them selves as this upscale place and it’s faaar from that. Literally nothing but bitter bartenders who think they work at the Ritz Carlton and anyone can be easily targeted in this place for any reason. Avoid this dump by all means if you can!
