Project Sel: Suicide Prevention for Queer & Trans Immigrants

Project Sel presents a community oriented event for trans and queer immigrants focused on suicide prevention. This is an open dialogue, group therapy style session, where we will offer psychoeducation,resources and support for suicide prevention. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with a licensed bilingual therapist (English & Spanish) and seek other types of mental health support, including getting connected to a private therapist.
This event is proudly presented as part of The Center’s Activist-in-Residence Fellowship, which supports LGBTQ+ changemakers using art and advocacy to advance equity, justice, and community healing.
