Oakland Airport Executive Hotel

The pictures looks great so we booked for a wedding we were working. We should have known when the sign showed it was in its prime in 1956. Elevator was broke the WHOLE building smelled like death! There was blood stains on the floor and a booger and hair on the wall, pubic hair on the floor. Stray cats and people roaming around. It’s seriously a hotel from hell and a healthy hazard. Disgusting is an understatement. If you like to live in the trenches this is the place for you. Personally I think they should SHUT IT DOWN!

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE FOR ANY REASON. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I've worked in the tourism industry for 20+ years. We arrived at the hotel exhausted around 11:30 PM after a long day of travel, expecting a simple, quiet check-in and a place to rest. Instead, the entire stay was stressful and frustrating from the beginning. Right when we arrived, the front desk staff informed us that our room was located on the 6th floor, but the elevator was out of service. She did mention that we could cancel if we wanted to, but since we had paid using travel credit on our credit card and it was already so late at night, we decided to just deal with it for one night and cancel the remainder of the stay the next morning. It felt very unwelcoming and almost like they already knew there were major issues with the property. To make matters worse, there was no one available to help carry luggage up the stairs. I was traveling with my 72-year-old mother, so I had to carry our luggage up all 12 flights of stairs to the 6th floor myself. No apology, accommodation, or assistance was offered. It was incredibly inconvenient and honestly unacceptable to put elderly guests in that position. The hotel itself also smelled terrible. The hallways and common areas reeked of cigarette smoke, weed, and overpowering cologne or air freshener trying to mask the odors. The entire property felt rundown and poorly maintained. We also discovered the pool was closed. While that was not the main reason we booked the hotel, it was still disappointing to find another amenity unavailable with little to no communication beforehand. The worst part happened around 1:00 AM. We were finally asleep when security started pounding loudly on our door. It completely startled us awake, especially since the hotel is not in the best part of town. I pried the door open slowly to find a hotel security guard who told us the front desk had asked him to check whether the room was occupied. This made absolutely no sense considering we had already checked in hours earlier. Being woken up in the middle of the night by someone aggressively knocking on the door was upsetting, unsettling, and completely unnecessary. After that, neither of us could get back to sleep. Overall, the hotel felt poorly managed, disorganized, and inconsiderate of guests. Between the broken elevator, lack of concern for elderly guests, terrible odors throughout the property, closed amenities, and being disturbed at 1 AM, this stay was not worth the money or stress. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others. We left and went to another hotel for the remaining 2 evenings.

Friendly staff, I was only checked in for a few hours but it was comfortable and clean.

This place is crap!! Spend a little more somewhere else! You will be walking up alot alof stairs once you get your room. The front desk is rude and nothing works. Run!!!

Very great price and the receptionist always willing to help and work with you! As long as you respect them you will get the same in return!

The elevators are broken. They have SIX floors. The hotel is dirty. It's an old hotel. If you have a vehicle you must call the front desk for them to open the gate to the parking lot. The small refrigerator does not work. The pictures listed on the reservation portal are several YEARS old. There is no breakfast, the city of Alemeda had closed the pool. The front desk states you must out your towels and trash out and housekeeping and maintenance will empty the trash can and replace your towels. This is not true. The place is a dump. The hotel felt like it was swaying and that feeling was very unsettling while trying to sleep. It's cheap so that's why it's occupied. You've been informed.

The elevator is broke. It's supposed to be non smoking but the odor throughout the hotel clearly says different. The room the gave me was dirty with some sort of ashes and they charge $10 a day for parking. Absolutely the worse experience ever with a hotel

Elevator is down and they will say it'll be fix the next day. It's NOT. six floor and have to take the stairs. I saw people in wheelchairs trying to walk up the stairs I even seen elderly trying to get up the stairs. It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm on a work assignment and I'm planning on leaving this hotel. Over all the rooms are great and very clean. Great location for sure.

This building needs to be condemned. The firemarshall will be called as i watched this place carry up an elderly person in a wheelchair up 5 flights of stairs by the security guard because both elevators where broken. The place was absolutely filthy with moldly carpets with fans blowing constantly and flies everywhere and trash all over. The place smelled like a casino floor ashtray for something that says its a non smoking facility and the cigarette butts on all floors and burn marks on the walls from people putting there cigarettes out on the walls... they said they served continental breakfast and no breakfast was served at all...dont come here its horrible this place is absolute trash and should not be allowed to operate its business and collect money from customers. What if this place had a fire and that lady in the wheelchair they carried up those stairs that also had broken rails was stuck 😳 this building is not safe i think most people that stayed here want a refund as ir was a horrific experience

Lobby smelled like mold. Carpets are filthy and need to be removed everywhere. The one working elevator stopped working halfway through the stay. No working AC. Toilet ran continuously and the shower was moldy. The advertised continental breakfast did not exist-not even coffee. One positive thing: the beds were comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful when the key cards didn't work-this appears to be a common thing. All in all stay somewhere else. The building should be torn down

please do not stay here the place is infested with cockroaches and when you try to get your refund they would not allow it it should be a no start place
