Seattle Gaslight Inn

Absolutely loved my stay and experience at the Gaslight Inn. Such welcoming hosts, and adorable littles! The house itself is stunningly beautiful and so cozy. Whether you are enjoying a book poolside, or a glass of wine fireside, you will be sure to feel at peace. Already looking forward to my next stay. Thank you, Ryan & Joelle!

Absolutely one of the most pleasant places I've stayed at worldwide. Calm, quiet, comfortable, friendly, welcoming, clean/spotless, private, and beautiful. Very nicely restored to its original, historic, vintage 1920’s style “mansion”, converted to a boutique hotel.

Ryan and Joelle were incredibly welcoming and always available to help with anything we needed during our stay. The inn was clean, relaxing, and had such a cool vintage vibe that really made the experience feel special. We loved being within walking distance of great restaurants and shops around Capitol Hill. The pool was warm, clean, and perfect for unwinding. We’ll definitely be making this our go-to place whenever we visit Seattle again.

I cannot recommend the Seattle Gaslight Inn enough. Ryan and Joelle are exemplary hosts and have done an incredible job making the Inn a great place to stay for those visiting Seattle. The proximity to the 1 line, while being close to cute local businesses is a major plus. Do yourself a favor and book a stay!

A beautifully restored and appointed grand old home, with georgeous oak woodwork and period furniture. It is conveniently located on Capitol Hill, only one and a half blocks away from the Kaiser Permanente Hospital. The hosts were very helpful and accomodating.

We had an absolutely perfect time at the Gaslight. It was beautiful, inside and out, warmly elegant, and a delight in every way, with every detail thought of. Ryan and Joelle were beyond hospitable, with the warmth of their family life pouring over into the guest experience. Truly, we cannot wait to return, and we will definitely want to stay once again in room 205, which was so beautifully done and comfortable in every way. We so enjoyed tucking ourselves into our room for the night, as well as for getaway moments through the day. We will definitely stay at the Seattle Gaslight Inn the next time we find ourselves in Seattle. Treat yourself! the next time we find ourselves in Seattle.

Charming, beautifully maintained, centrally located inn with delightful, warm hosts whose presence makes the inn feel like a home. The check in and out process was easy and efficient and the coffee and snacks were much appreciated as well as the ease of storing our luggage for the day. The Seattle Gaslight Inn is a hidden gem and we are look forward to our return. Thank you Joelle and Ryan.

The house itself is incredibly beautiful. The upstairs rooms are not accessible for people with disabilities, to be clear, and they have a dog and a cat living there, so you may want to steer clear if you’re allergic to house pets. The place is charming and the host we met was super friendly and helpful. Plus there’s free coffee and light breakfast. All of that was great, but the location is also stellar. We walked down the hill to Pike Place Market, which was a bit of a hike, but the hotel is close to some of Seattle’s most fun & hip restaurants and bars. We will be keeping the Gaslight on our short list of places to stay when we return to Seattle.

Had a wonderful stay at the Inn and can't wait to come back! It was super cozy and quiet here and I enjoyed that amenities like snacks and tea were available around the clock. Slept like a rock in my 3rd floor room and had a nice view of the city. Also got to swim in the heated pool which was a highlight. Ryan and Joelle were great hosts and I was greeted right upon entering. I also appreciated that I was able to text them when I needed something or had a question. The location was GREAT and I could get to tons of restaurants and shops during my stay. I like that the Inn is a little removed from the bustle of the busier streets but still in close proximity to all that Cap Hill has to offer. FYI for anyone traveling between the Cap Hill light rail station and the inn: Be warned that your walk will mostly be uphill. There's a bus line that takes you up the hill, so you can do that instead of schlepping your stuff the whole way like I did!

A lovely old home, well cared for, comfortable and interesting. Well placed for walking to restaurants. Charming hosts. Be aware that there is a cat and dog on premises, in case you have allergies. But they are very friendly.
