Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tulsa Midtown by IHG

This Holiday Inn is super clean and up to date. The rooms are gorgeous. I have stayed in hotels across the country and this one exceeded my expectations. Excellent staff. Smells wonderful. I loved this Holiday Inn.

Great Holiday Inn with excellent staff! The hotel was sparkling clean, seemed well-maintained, and our room was bright and spacious. Breakfast was fresh and ample and their kitchen staff lady kept everything topped up swiftly. The front desk staff were consistently delightful. I was truly sorry to leave! The only problem was that Google maps GPS incorrectly directs one to turn on 50th when the street in question is actually Vandalia, but the hotel is easy to find all the same.

I love IHG hotels but im not to happy with how i am being treated by this hotels manager. I called to make a reservation at the hotel to go swimming. I asked if the pool was clean and when it was last cleaned BC its Summer and outdoor pool tend to dirty quickly. the rep otp told me that is was very clean and that the pool is cleaned often. A few hour later me and my family checked in and went to change into our suits and to our suprised the FD agent on staff had lock the pool. He said it was too dirty for our toddler to swim in and yes, it was green and dirty...like it hadn't been cleaned in a while...I know that the staff is responsible for checking the pool chemical levels daily,if not mulituple times per day. So this pool had been neglected before we checked. So we decided to head over to a neighboring hotel and we were so happy to be accompadated by a Marriot hotel...whos pool was CLEAN! The hotel manager has been neglecting me (just like her hotels pool) by not prioritizing returning my phone call on her return to the office on Monday. Our issue arose on Friday and her staff (bless them) has more then prepared her for my phone call. She is not representing the IHG Brand Standard and its not a good look. I want to clear in my review. The staff handle this and me the best way they knew how (except the Rep otp, who said the pool was clean) from check in then check out. they were honest! This is an honest review. Dear manager, by not insureing sure your guest check into a clean hotel you almost guarantee to make the jobs of your employees much harder.

Our first room had ants that crawled out of the plug BUT when I called down they immediately moved us and everything was perfect after that. We went out to the pool the second day and it was Immaculate and it wasn't drowning in chemicals and it was well-maintained. It was also a good central location for all the places that we went.
