Hotel St. Gregory

Prestigious hotel with a strong team holding the operations. Marcel has perfect management skills needed to finalize an accurate reservation up to standard! Ezera & Alex always dynamic, positive and happy to assist. As for Ronaldo, his logistical skills ensure a smooth seamless experience when moving rooms or checking in and out!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The hotel is dark and out dated. Very little lighting in hallways, rooms and bathroom. The AC units make a loud bang when they turn off and on. They still have tub showers, no decent hotel has a small tub shower anymore. The room has random ticking and knocking sounds like pipes in the wall expanding and contracting or something. You can also hear neighbors above and beside you, doors bang loudly. Just all sorts of things that make it uncomfortable. With so many other options around the city this place will need to update to stay in the competition.

One of a kind

Not a good experience from the beggining. A lousy check in where the from desk guy didn't bother to give us any information like the wi-fi password or facilities. Bed was untidy as we entered the room. Number of towels also insufficient. As for the breakfast, you can choose vey limited, insufficient options in a restaurant inside the hotel, where the service is slow and unkind.

They charge a fee for a service that is not necessarily used for discounts at the hotel.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms themselves are perfectly nice, the disorganized and run down nature of the hotel really detracted from the experience. The stay started out normal, and we were pleasantly surprised with how big the room was. One of the elevators was broken, but no big deal. However, suddenly the keypad stopped working. They issued a new key, which also didn't work. Then they got maintenance to come, who also was not able to fix it. Finally, after waiting for quite a while at the desk (nobody was there for a bit), they registered a new room for us, one floor down, and said they would send staff to move our stuff for us, which unfortunately did not happen. Come to see that the new room only had one bed, for the four of us. Back downstairs we went, to get another new room, in which we were able to complete our stay. I'd say that the staff overall felt disorganized, and could have been more apologetic for the situation. It seemed as though other guests were having similar issues during our time there, too. It is not a bad hotel, but the service did detract from the experience.

Lovely hotel with a great team. Customer service all around including the restaurant and bar was excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Before the Eurostars acquisition, this was a lovey hotel. It has been cheapened out to the MAX. The toiletries used to be the gorgeous and natural range of L’Occitane which have been replaced by disgusting and cheap chemical ones. Breakfast vouchers used to be a perk of staying here too but that’s also been removed and replaced with a rubbish “15%” off the bill instead. I stay here for around 30 days per year but will be looking to stay somewhere else now. VERY DISAPPOINTING
