Fantastic Golden Hour with my husband. I came for a second time to enjoy the superb gazpacho!!!🙂 We continued with a burger and Merguez sausage on polenta. Delicious! The bartender - this time it was ‘Jack’ - was very kind, interested and helpful. 😊

Rachel our server was the best server in the world! Going to request her everytime I come here from now on. I mean just Wow!

David is an absolute sweetheart and I cannot express how great this man is. You’ll hear about the place for the food, but David is why you come back. He’s the light at the end of a dark alley, the dove to my sparrow, it’s provocative it gets the people going. 10/10 recommend.

The service was excellent

I visited for Sunday brunch and came away with mixed feelings. The food was actually very good. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well prepared, and I'd definitely give the kitchen credit for delivering a quality meal. Unfortunately, the service was a major disappointment and overshadowed the entire experience. It took an unusually long time for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, the dishes came out sporadically instead of all at once. Some people at the table were eating while others were still waiting for their meals, which made for a frustrating brunch experience. The cocktails were another letdown. At around $30 per drink after gratuity, I expected a well-crafted cocktail with a noticeable pour. Instead, they were surprisingly weak and definitely not worth the price. Around 3:00 p.m., the restaurant shifted into more of a party atmosphere with loud music and dancers. While I understand they're trying to create an energetic vibe, it felt out of place during brunch. Most of the guests around us seemed more confused than entertained, and the atmosphere didn't appear to match the mood of the dining room. Overall, the food was the highlight, but great food can only go so far when the service falls short. I place a high value on customer service, and for the prices this restaurant charges, I expected a much smoother and more attentive dining experience. Between the slow service, overpriced and underwhelming drinks, and the awkward transition into a party scene, I don't see myself returning. I hope management takes a closer look at the front-of-house experience because the kitchen is clearly doing its part.

Felt like a little French getaway in DC! Elegant space that felt bright yet cozy. Our group of 10 had a table tucked into an alcove that felt more intimate. Every item that came out was so thoughtfully prepared for visual presentation and mix of flavors and textures. The Burratta starter was one of my favorites. The watermelon salad was light and refreshing. Generous portions. The creative Cavimisu dessert was extra! It comes in a custom caviar tin with chocolate caviar pearls on a tiramisu with rich espresso. So novel and creative. Our server David was wonderful took great care of us. Go to the bathroom just to see the secret agent wall mural. I saw a group of twenty-something’s arrive and their first order of business was pretty much to head straight over to have a whole photoshoot in front of the Shhh lady.

Extraordinary dining experience in a beautiful, elegant, and atmospheric dining room. I cant wait to go back!

Boubouzard was a great experience overall. The ambiance and service were outstanding—both easily 5/5. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made the evening feel special. For dinner, we ordered the rabbit pasta and the New York strip. Both dishes were well prepared and flavorful. While the food was very good, there was just a little room for improvement, so I’d give it a 4/5. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Boubouzard if you’re looking for a great atmosphere, excellent service, and a solid meal.

The escargots were easily some of the finest I've had, plump, beautifully seasoned, and drenched in garlicky butter. The foie gras was silky and well-balanced, not too salty. The Petite Bouillabaisse offered a wonderfully rich broth, and the Loup de Mer was cooked with precision; though the fish itself lacked sweetness and juiciness. Desserts were delightful. Add a lively DJ, a buzzing vibe, and amazing service (our glasses never ran dry). We would love to come back.
