The Queen

The Queen is a restored 1,100-seat Live Nation music hall on Market Street in downtown Wilmington. While a mainstream concert venue rather than a dedicated gay bar, it is the city's most reliable hub for LGBTQ+ programming: it hosts the recurring Big Wig Brunch drag experience on weekends and has staged the Miss Gay Delaware America pageant and Wilmington Pride Fest. The historic marquee and ornate interior make it a downtown landmark, and its calendar of drag shows and pride-adjacent events keeps it firmly on the local queer map.
