The Drexel House Kenya

A very nice place in Karen. We had a late flight and were able to spend the whole day there. Super hospitable. Very nice breakfast in the garden. Tasty food. Good value for money.

I enjoyed an excellent day stay at the Drexel House while waiting for a late flight out from the airport. I felt very welcomed and at home. The staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at peace. Thank you Dan and the entire staff for your intentionality to make my stay so memorable and restful!

This is a beautiful hotel with spacious lounges and garden filled with elegant jazz music. Breakfast is cooked to your order. Wifi is reliable. Despite the heavy rain that flooded other parts of Nairobi, this place remained serene and functional.

An excellent hotel with a gorgeous garden. Guinea fowl roam the grounds. The service was excellent; Ken was our host. He followed us around (not intrusively) and attended to all our requests. Nice pool. In the evening, you can spend a wonderful time in the lobby by the fireplace, enjoying a glass of something. The room is small, but very cozy, everything is done with love. A few minor drawbacks: there are no screens on the windows (but there is a fumigator), no air conditioning, and the bed is a bit small for two. I recommend it. The hotel has a great atmosphere.

I recently returned to Drexel House and loved it much as the first time. The beautifully maintained outdoor garden provides a serene atmosphere for relaxation. All the staff are exceptionally courteous, welcoming & make you feel at home. The curated menu offers a delightful selection of well-prepared dishes. Definitely recommend it for both solo travelers and families seeking a refined and comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Drexel House. Where do I start? Peaceful, comfortable, welcoming, friendly, homey, clean. Very comfortable beds and rooms. The pool is delightful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is attentive and friendly. They even prepared me a Kenyan supper at my request. Nothing is a problem. Dan, the owner, is available and always on task and on time. The house is so lovely, decorated with furniture and paintings from around the world. Do not hesitate to stay here. I would choose The Drexel House over a fancy hotel anytime.

Last night at the Drexel house was a very pleasant surprise. A beautiful and incredibly peaceful place. The garden is magnificent. The staff is very attentive. I highly recommend it. A big thank you to Kennedy who took exceptional care of us and cooked divine meals. Finally, breakfast in this sumptuous garden is a real treat.
