This review was updated in 2022. The hotel underwent renovations in 2018, resulting in very comfortable rooms befitting a 5-star hotel in Wuhan. Location: It's next to the upscale K11 shopping mall, and the Yangtze River is a 3km walk away. It's accessible from the airport via Metro Line 2. The nearest high-speed train station is Hankou Station; traveling from Wuhan Station will take 40-50 minutes due to traffic congestion. Food: Several Wuhan specialty dishes are available. The tables are spaced far apart, allowing for a relaxing dining experience. Disadvantages: Due to its proximity to the city center, traffic congestion is severe during rush hour. This is true for Wuhan as a whole. As of June 2022: Due to COVID-19 precautions, app-based documentation is required, including a negative test result within 72 hours and proof of movement for the past 14 days. Upon arrival in Wuhan by high-speed train, everyone is required to undergo testing at the station (you can leave the station before the results are known). Foreign nationals are also required to register with the Wuhan COVID-19 prevention app. You will need to show this at most restaurants in the city.
