Rainbow Pride Foundation

The Rainbow Pride Foundation is a Fijian LGBTIQ+ rights organisation based in Suva. It does policy advocacy, documents discrimination, runs community support and outreach programmes around the country, and organises events for IDAHOBIT (17 May) and Pride. It is an office-based NGO, not a social venue, so contact it through its website before visiting. Fiji decriminalised consensual same-sex relations in 2010 and its constitution bans discrimination on sexual orientation and gender identity, but attitudes outside Suva are conservative. For visitors, the foundation is a useful point of contact for current information on community events.
