レビュー者の声

Visitors frequently praise the hotel's excellent service, with many highlighting specific staff members for their attentiveness and hospitality. The location and setting by the sea are also commonly appreciated. However, some guests note that the rooms, while well-appointed, are showing their age and could benefit from an upgrade.

この場所について Galle Face Hotel

The Galle Face Hotel is one of Asia's oldest hotels, opened in 1864 on the seafront at the southern end of Galle Face Green in Colombo. It is a mainstream heritage hotel listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. The colonial architecture, ocean-facing verandah and pool are the reasons people stay, and it averages 4.5 from over 10,000 Google reviews. The Green next door fills with families and food stalls at sunset, which is worth seeing. Note that Sri Lanka's penal code still criminalises same-sex acts, even though prosecutions are rare. Discretion in public is advisable, while large hotels like this one handle same-sex couples routinely.

"King of the Mambo" Bar and Restaurant is a superb place, just next to the sea. Good to spend the evening with friends and family, with a nice view of a beautiful sunset..(Didn't stay hence cannot comment regarding rooms)
