BirdCage is a gay dance club on Đê Quai, on the southern side of Hanoi's Tây Hồ (West Lake) district. It usually opens on Friday and Saturday nights only and plays house and dance music to a mostly local crowd until late. Hanoi has few dedicated queer venues, and this is one of the only ones with a real dancefloor.
It's word-of-mouth and the schedule changes, so check its social media for the current dates before you go. A Grab ride from the Old Quarter takes about 15 minutes.

This pub is hidden away on the banks of the Red River, boasting a wild, open, and artistic atmosphere. It frequently hosts colorful drag shows that attract many Western tourists. Tip: It's best to take a taxi there as the alley is deep and dark.
