Boutique Hotel Villa Provence

A very small hotel close to station & harbour. Very nice interior with small but nice rooms Best one over look hotel courtyard. Fantastic staff on hand The hotel only offers breakfast but with so many options near by no issue. The bar loung offers some lovely dtinks should you wish. Breakfast was a set menu witb a slightly large portion for one but ffesh fruit & bit mske it nice.

Has rarely stayed in a place with similar service from smiling and efficient staff. Problem with the room immediately triggered an upgrade to "the best of the house". Have only great praise for the hotel which we will definitely return to. Nice "touch" with thorough old French posters. Call: The cozy courtyard needs a lot more cozy seating furniture, so you are tempted to stay longer.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars based on the room alone, but unfortunately the noise from the bar across the street significantly impacted my stay. Pros: * Complimentary room upgrade * Very spacious room * Comfortable bed * Decent-sized bathroom * Nice, fluffy towels - bathrobe - slippers - Molton Brown toiletries Cons: * Weak shower pressure * The bed sits on an unusual elevated platform, which makes late-night trips to the bathroom a bit hazardous * No air conditioning, meaning the windows need to be opened; hence the noise. * Unfortunately, the bar across the street is extremely noisy, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Luckily the noise died down at around Midnight. That was on a Tuesday night. I skipped breakfast, as DKK 300 felt far too expensive for what I would typically eat in the morning. It’s a shame, because the location is excellent and very convenient for the station. However, due to the noise levels, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Overrated hotel Breakfast over $93 for 2 people, way too much food, no room for all the food with such a small table. Shower: hose to short. I’m 6’1” could not reach my head. Our room was in the rear building facing the parking lot. The was nice. You go through a door and enter your room from an outside walkway (similar to a US Motel), The door slams behind you and slams whenever the door is used. 4 rooms each floor (3 floors). Pack light you have to carry your bag up some stairs and there is no place to put them in the room. There is an elevator in the building. They use storage shelves that could be used for your closes to sell snacks. There is a very nice sitting area outside for people to meet but it is right outside your window and surrounded by buildings so it can get loud. I guess that’s why there are air plugs in the room. Staff are excellent.

Paradis is located in the heart of Aarhus, you will simply be happy to stay at Hotel Villa Provence in Aarhus. For a hotel freak like me, it is great to see how personality, details, hospitality, decor, gastronomy and atmosphere go up in a higher unit. It is very rare that everything plays max together – but it does it here. This is also because there are some employees who love their jobs, who are dedicated and who know what good hosting contains. - And I love that breakfast is served at the table. Not any big messy buffet, but beautifully and elegantly served with a touch of Provence. Everything is great at this hotel, - Denmark's coolest lounge, well-equipped honesty bar, the lighting, the most delicious bed linen, thick soft towels, products from Molton Brown, press on the water taps that are not calked to, - and breakfast - homemade bread, homemade jam, French butter, omelet with ham and tomato, charcuttery from the best houses, freshly pressed juice and coffee with good taste and which is not bitter. Villa Provence is definitely one of my favourites, and I really want to come back, just to stay one more night in this wonderful setting.

This is a lovely place to stay. Someone spent a lot of time decorating this hotel! It is beautiful and fun. Our room was very comfortable with nice amenities, including robes, slippers, tea and coffee. Despite being in a great, central location, the hotel is quiet and peaceful. The staff is outstanding: friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The breakfast is hearty and delicious.Highly recommend!

Villa Provence, unfortunately, does not live up to expectations. Breakfast costs 300 kr. per person, but the level was completely basic and honestly to laugh at the price. The staff seemed accepted kindly in an almost awful way, with stiff smiles that felt more awkward than welcoming. The rooms were worn and smelled bad, which definitely does not fit the image the place is trying to sell. I will not come again and unfortunately can not recommend the place.

Then there was a good offer for accommodation, and then I had to visit the hotel. And what a lovely place with a location close to the river and harbour. Nice room, nice thick towels in the bathroom and nice bath products. With great staff. Sweet and helpful everyone. The courtyard is a chapter for itself. I didn’t think I would enjoy it,so late in the year, but with a fantastic weather, it was a lise for the soul to sit in it first in the evening, with a blanket around it and a cup of coffee. And quietly hear the rush of water. Breakfast was great. With freshly pressed orange juice and omelet made on order. I will definitely come again

Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful decoration both in the rooms and in the charming courtyard. Cute and attentive staff. All the important details, such as earplugs and makeup mirrors, are considered. Will definitely come back.

I love this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating doing their utmost to help in every encounter. The little court yard is a beauty and makes you instantly calm. Rooms are individual decorated with a kettle and coffee maker - nice. Breakfast is good, and I like I get an individual breakfast instead of the buffet you get everywhere else. It just gives a more personal touch. I will be back!
