There are no gay hotels in Aarhus, and you don't need one: Denmark has had same-sex marriage since 2012 and a same-sex couple checking in anywhere here is unremarkable. What matters is location. The city's small queer scene sits in the old centre, so a hotel within walking distance of Skolegade and the Latin Quarter makes the most sense. Everything below is a mainstream hotel; we list facts from the hotels' own sites and booking listings, not claims about who runs them.
Closest to the scene
SOFS Boutique Hotel (formerly Hotel Guldsmeden Aarhus) is a 26-room hotel on Guldsmedgade in the Latin Quarter, about ten minutes' walk from Café Sappho and LGBT+ Huset. Hotel Royal, on the cathedral square since 1838, and the budget CABINN Aarhus on Kannikegade are both a couple of minutes from GBAR. Villa Provence is a 39-room boutique hotel near the river, and Danhostel Aarhus City on Fiskergade is the cheapest central bed.
By the station
If you arrive by train from Copenhagen (about 2 hours 45 minutes), Scandic The Mayor is 100 metres from the station, with Comwell Aarhus, Wakeup Aarhus and Hotel Oasia a few minutes further. Scandic Aarhus City is just off Strøget. All are about 15 minutes' walk from the Latin Quarter. The Radisson Blu Scandinavia is next to ARoS and Musikhusparken, where Aarhus Pride ends on Saturday 29 May 2027.

Apartments
Hotel Aarhus City Apartments on Fredensgade and Aura Apartment Hotel on Nørre Allé rent self-catering apartments in the centre. Daniel&Jacob's is an aparthotel of about 70 studios in Katrinebjerg, about 3 km north, near the university.
Further out
Helnan Marselis sits on Aarhus Bay at the edge of Marselisborg Forest, about 3 km south, with sea views and a pool. The two Four Points Flex hotels in Skejby and Viby (Zleep hotels until January 2025) suit drivers and business trips rather than nights out.
