At first glance, this place masquerades as a sleek, modern hotel. In reality? It's a well-dressed torture chamber—essentially a university dorm wearing a tailored corporate suit. THE GOOD: Smooth self-service check-in, genuinely clean and sleek interior, and a functioning tiny fitness room. THE BAD: • Storage: Non-existent. Prepare to live out of your suitcase like a nomad who lost their wardrobe in a poker game. • Climate & Noise: The rooms are architectural slow-cookers with no AC. The windows only open from the bottom, meaning cool air physically refuses to enter. If you crack the window to escape the stuffiness, your reward is the deafening roar of the train track right outside, which rattles past your skull late into the night. • Rationing: The hotel seems to have suffered a linen heist. Past stays had double pillows; this time I got a single pillow and one linen set for a two-bed room. • Entertainment & Location: The TV is a digital hostage (local cable only, no casting). The surrounding area is a recreational vacuum with absolutely nothing to do. • Breakfast: Bleak. Only the pancakes and eggs are fresh; the rest feels like a corporate afterthought. THE VERDICT: If you imagine a sweltering student dorm room wrapped in an IKEA catalog and dropped next to an active rail yard, you’ll have perfectly calibrated your expectations.
