Plage de la Batterie (Vallauris)

Plage de la Batterie is a naturist beach on the coast road between Golfe-Juan and Juan-les-Pins. It is in Vallauris, the town next to Antibes, about 3 km west of Juan-les-Pins and a short walk from Golfe-Juan station. The France tourism site lists it as naturist with the council's consent, and gay guides say the rocky western end is where gay men gather. It is a small, partly pebbly strip beside a busy road, and it is a public beach first. Naturism is fine there; sex in public is not. It is an offence in France (article 222-32 of the penal code).
