Oval Office Bar

Oval Office Bar is a queer basement bar under the Schauspielhaus Bochum (entrance Saladin-Schmitt-Straße 2), run collectively by the association KosmoPolis e.V. It describes itself as a queer bar. The crowd is mixed queer and FLINTA*-friendly, with a political, community feel, and many drinks are pay-what-you-can. Google lists it as open Thursday to Saturday from 19:00 until around midnight or 1:00. It's the closest thing Bochum has to a regular gay bar right now. Check kosmopolis.club or Instagram (ovalofficebar) before going, as opening can change around the theatre's schedule.
