Visitors consistently praise ABABA for its unique atmosphere, cozy interior, and the friendly, welcoming service, often highlighting a staff member named Maria. While many enjoy the art and vibe, one reviewer found the beer prices, specifically for Guinness, to be a bit high.

この場所について Ababa

Ababa is a café-bar and small art gallery at Isodion 12 in Chania's old town, about 9 km east of Agia Marina. Travel Gay lists it as gay-friendly and says plainly that it is not a gay bar, just a popular spot where locals and tourists mix easily. The room is crammed with the owner's old toys and paintings. By day it's coffee, board games and books; at night, cocktails, often made with Cretan ingredients. Listed hours are 10:00 to 03:00 daily. With no permanent gay bar in Chania, this is a reasonable first drink before an Apollo Party night. It rates 4.7 on Google from about 840 reviews.

This place is brilliant, it is a lovely cosy chill cocktail bar and also a quirky gallery with some excellent pieces on display, the lady working here was kind to us and happy to chat to us 💗
