I was truly blown away by how amazing this property is. From the time we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty, despite only staying one night (my only regret). The room was absolutley jaw-dropping, especially with the background of the mountains and the sea that it offered. The pool area was probably the best I've seen at a resort. Would absolutley return to this property (and stay longer) in the future!

The Highlights: Exceptional Staff: Truly the best part of the property. From housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers, the team provided warm, world-class hospitality throughout. Pool & Views: Gorgeous pool deck with sweeping panoramic views straight from the room. Breakfast: Incredible daily spread with fantastic variety and high quality. Location & Walk into Town: Perilous Walk: Walking into town takes about 10 minutes, but it runs along a narrow, busy road with heavy traffic that feels sketchy on foot. Steep Climb: The final approach directly leading up into the hotel is extremely steep—be prepared for a serious workout on the way back up. Watch Out For (Hidden Costs & Annoyances): In-Room Coffee Fees: Charging €4 per coffee pod in the room feels penny-pinching for a 5-star property where complimentary coffee is the norm. Misleading Sister Property Access: Marketing implies access to amenities across the Myconian Collection, but visiting comes with steep €100+ access fees. When questioned about the lack of transparency, staff stated, "It didn't say it was free." Weak Wi-Fi: Patchy, unreliable connection, especially inside the rooms. A beautiful setting with standout staff, but expect extra nickel-and-dime fees and a tricky walk if you plan on exploring on foot.

The room was great and the gym was excellent. The staff serving breakfast were also attentive, friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience with the concierge and the manager was completely different and very disappointing. We raised a complaint after our luggage was damaged while being transported by the hotel staff. Instead of checking what had happened or trying to assist, they simply told us that it was “none of their business.” For a five-star hotel, I found this response extremely unprofessional and dismissive. Even if the hotel ultimately believed it was not responsible, I would have expected the management to at least investigate the incident and communicate with guests respectfully rather than immediately dismissing the complaint. Overall, the property itself is very good, but the attitude and handling of our complaint by the concierge and management significantly affected our experience. Interestingly, many of the other staff members we interacted with were warm, attentive and genuinely helpful.

Staff members were amazing! Adham, G & Abi went over & beyond to ensure we were looked after. All the hotel staff were amazing. The food was excellent, towels changed twice a day, room & view just perfect. Overall the best experience we have had. Miss all the staff. They made the experience the best holiday so far. If you are planning an escape to the Island of the Winds, the Myconian Kyma sits in a prime spot just above Mykonos Town. With its crisp whitewashed architecture, Aegean vistas, and design-led spaces, it delivers plenty of Aegean magic—though a few operational quirks are worth keeping in mind before you book. The Highlights: Warm Hospitality & Great Ambience The real crown jewel of Kyma is its exceptional staff. From the moment you step foot onto the property, the team is genuinely warm, helpful, and attentive. Whether you need local recommendations, transfers, or an extra towel by the pool, their hospitality sets a high bar and makes you feel instantly looked after. The overall vibe of the hotel is relaxed luxury, making it an ideal base if you want proximity to the main town’s vibrant nightlife while retaining a tranquil sanctuary to retreat to during the day. A Few Things to Keep in Mind To keep things completely candid for fellow travellers, there were a couple of drawbacks during the stay: Inconsistent Wi-Fi Connection: If you need to check emails, upload stories, or get any remote work done, be prepared for frustration. The Wi-Fi signal was spotty and unstable throughout much of the complex, dropping out frequently around both the rooms and pool areas. Reciprocal Amenities Discrepancy: The hotel website leaves the strong impression that guests enjoy complimentary access to facilities across the sister properties within the Myconian Collection. We booked hoping to pool-hop around the island to catch different vantage points, but using pools and sun loungers at the other group hotels comes with extra fees. Clarify access policies with guest services directly if you plan to explore sister properties. The Breakfast Spread: Breakfast at Kyma is undeniably solid, featuring fresh local ingredients, pastries, and solid coffee. However, having stayed at the Myconian Villas last year, the spread didn't quite match that exceptional standard. It is still a pleasant morning experience, just slightly simpler in scope and presentation by comparison. The walk into town, although only 10 minutes, is precarious to say the least!You have to walk along a very busy road where buses, taxis, and cars race past you with only inches to spare. As we are on the island of winds, it is also worth noting that if you need shade by the pool on a windy day, they do not allow you to put up the umbrellas, which makes sitting by the pool slightly unbearable. Final Verdict Despite a few details needing fine-tuning, Myconian Kyma delivers a memorable Cycladic stay. If you prioritize stellar service, central location, and striking design over seamless Wi-Fi and the use of other amenities in their sister hotels, it remains a fantastic luxury pick in Mykonos.

A definite recommendation for a pleasant stay full of care. This wonderful hotel combines everything one would love to have when on vacation. The service. Starting from meeting you with a complimentary transfer from the airport, taking care while waiting for checking in, providing all the tips on amenities and on island. Special thanks to Ms Poppy, passionate professional who listens and hear, focuses on details, takes complete care. And all these with a warm heart and smile. The amenities. Although you may use the territory of all the three hotels located nearby, it was so pleasant to stay and dine at KYMA so you feel here like home. The sea water pools are amazingly comfortable and beautiful. The food as for the breakfast as well as during the day at pool and in the restaurant is delicious. BTW the wine list is excellent (thanks to Klement for educating on the greek gems in it). Location. One may think it’s not really comparable for walks around and to town. I’d rather agree but the hotel provides exceptionally perfect transfer service. *we didn’t use taxi at all during our stay, always transfer only. Very cozy and prompt as from the hotel as well as back from both town or beaches. Once again thanks to all the team of KYMA, Sofia, Iakovina, Maria, Bliss, Giorgios, Giannis, Panagiotis and all of you. We would get back for sure.

This resort has a great view. I could see both downtown Kima and the sea at the same time. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to downtown, so it is a pity that there is no shuttle service to the city center. The breakfast service was satisfactory, and the staff were very friendly.

Do not bother booking this accommodation unless you look rich. My experience in this hotel felt like as if I was a black sheep. Constant looks (probably due to my choices of clothing and tattoos), pushy behavior and a "thief"-like treatment by the check-in stuff. I didn't even had the chance to park my vehicle properly before I was pushed to the reception desk to identify myself. Cherry on top was during the check-out; one of the receptionists knew our room number by heart and told it out loud before we even arrived at the reception desk. Almost as if every member of the stuff knew about us.

Me and my partner stayed there for one night due to professional reasons. Since the first moment we arrived we were getting weird looks and a lot of unnecessary questions from the front desk and the general staff. At first I thought that I was the one feeling very uncomfortable because we were wearing simple clothing and we had some camping gear with us from our previous vacation journey, but the person that I was with shared the same exact feelings. The same weird behavior continued throughout our stay and especially during our check out where we felt like we had three people overlooking at us like we are thieves or something, waiting for us to finally leave the hotel. Our first assumption was that all of this happened due to our looks (tattoos/bleached hair/alt styling), but that doesn’t justify anything especially when you have booked a stay and treated the employees with nothing but respect. We didn’t felt like going out of the hotel room because of that reason, and in my opinion no costumer should feel this way. We wouldn’t choose this place again in any occasion. Shoutout to the two guys that were serving in the pool during morning hours though , they were super friendly and cool (unlike most of the front staff experience we had).
