SCARPETTA

We ate four different pasta dishes here. They were all delicious. We got a free limoncello at the end. Thank you! We'll definitely be back!

Excellent cuisine, great service and a wonderful atmosphere

Best food on Palermo. Excellent service.

The food was amazing. The pasta is best in Sicily :).

The manager is the most unpleasant person. We passed by and he waved at us that the place is closed like we were a nuisance. We also asked if we could use the toilet and he just sent us out without looking at us. And we just ate in that place a day before! And he was sooo different. Eat elsewhere there are plenty of other restaurants

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We originally wanted to go to Bissu, which is just across the street, but it was completely packed. We were really hungry, so we decided to sit here instead, and we were so happy we did! We tried three appetizers, and our absolute favorite was the burrata with pistachio cream and toasted bread. We also had their Scarpetta, a creamy tomato dish served with toasted bread, and fried zucchini with aioli sauce (both nice). Honestly, everything was delicious, but you absolutely HAVE to order the burrata with pistachio cream. It was soooo good! And don’t be afraid to eat with your hands and mop up every last bit of that sauce with the bread, because that’s exactly what scarpetta means in Italian - soaking up the sauce with bread! Also, prices was so fair and fashionable guy who find us a table was super nice and welcoming. ☺️

Amazing food, friendly and helpful staff and great atmosphere.
