Gay Bars & Clubs in Campinas: The Honest 2026 List
Campinas has more than a million people and a small gay nightlife: one long-running LGBT+ club, one LGBT+ cocktail bar, and two mixed venues with regular queer nights. There's no gay street. The two dedicated places are a few blocks apart in Vila Itapura, just north-west of Centro, and the rest need an app ride. Cruising bars and saunas have their own pages.
The dedicated LGBT+ places

Livre Club Bar
Avenida Francisco Glicério 2165, Vila Itapura. The city's main LGBT+ club, open for close to two decades according to Gazeta SP, and run since 2024 by Bearway Produções. Bearway's site lists Drag Ball on Fridays and HUNTER on Saturdays (both from 23:00), Galpão Mix on Sunday evenings from 20:00, and one-offs such as the 4Girls women's night and a Halloween party. It rates 4.4 on Google from about 450 reviews. People like the outdoor bar, but the dance floor is small and gets packed on holidays, and a few recent reviews complain about the door. Older listings call it "Free Club Bar"; it's the same place.
Azzur Lounge Bar
Avenida Brasil 64, Vila Itapura. A two-floor cocktail bar with a kitchen, live music and shows, listed by Gazeta SP among Campinas's LGBT+ nightspots. Google lists Thursday to Saturday from 19:00 and Sunday 16:00 to 23:00, and it rates 4.6 from about 155 reviews. It's the natural first stop before Livre Club, and the line-up is on Instagram (@azzurloungebar).
Mixed venues with queer nights
Kitnet Bar
Avenida Francisco José de Camargo Andrade 145, Jardim Chapadão. A tiny Friday and Saturday party bar, open from about 22:00 until dawn, with pop, funk and trap nights. Gazeta SP lists it with Livre and Azzur as one of the city's diversity-friendly parties, but it isn't a gay bar. Reviews say there's no judgement, the drinks are pricey and the playlist repeats.
CAOS
Rua Luiz Otávio 2995, in the north of the city. A big mainstream funk, rap and electronic club that hosts Baile da Larissinha, a long-running LGBTQ+ funk party, and Pride-weekend parties: the official Wolf pre-Pride night with Pocah was held there on 27 June 2026. On other nights it's a general crowd, so check @caoscampinas first.
Closed or changed
Narnia, on Barão de Itapura, closed after a farewell party on 11 January 2025. Club 88 in Centro and Moustache Single's Bar in Cambuí aren't gay venues, whatever some directories say.
Practical tips
Things start late: most parties open at 22:00 or 23:00 and get busy after midnight. Many places prefer Pix to cards. Use Uber or 99 between venues rather than walking through Centro at night. For cruising, see Noxus in Cambuí, and for saunas see Sauna Très Chic and Spa 393.
