Hotel Plaza

Excellent location across from the plaza. Comfortable and spacious rooms, but poorly insulated. Meager breakfast.

My partner and I stayed in room 305, to be specific, and it was a 10/10. The room was comfortable, pleasant, and warm. The staff was very friendly overall, no complaints whatsoever. However, the church bells start ringing every 30 minutes from 8:00 AM to midnight, so keep that in mind when staying at this hotel. Personally, it didn't bother us at all since we went out during the day. Aside from that, we really liked the hotel and its location. We will definitely return.

Lovely room, very clean and slept well. Staff were very friendly and nice and breakfast was good also. Nice and warm inside too!

Thank you so much for the week at this privately run hotel! It couldn't be more centrally located in Punta Arenas. Historic ambiance, very friendly and patient staff, personalized breakfast service (thank you so much for that :)). And a very important detail compared to other hotels: the mattresses and room service were excellent!! Best regards from the occupants of Room No. 112

Our experience at this hotel was truly awful. From day one, we had basic problems that were never resolved: the Wi-Fi didn't work, and neither did the heating, making our stay extremely uncomfortable. While the staff was friendly, they lacked the tools and concrete solutions to resolve any of the issues. We felt a complete lack of management regarding problems that should be a priority in any accommodation. Furthermore, throughout our entire stay, we never saw the manager, nor was there anyone in authority present to provide answers or take responsibility for the situation. Breakfast was another negative point: for four days, we were offered the exact same thing, with products that didn't seem fresh. Very little variety and low quality. To top it all off, at check-out, they charged us an exorbitant price for two stained towels, equivalent to half the cost of our stay. We felt it was a complete rip-off. We absolutely do not recommend this hotel. A disappointing experience from beginning to end.

lovely historic building overlooking the main square of Punta Arenas. sadly the hotel experience itself has quite to live up to. my room was quite loud hearing absolutely everything that happened in the halls and reception area even from a floor above. breakfast was lacking meat and there was no hot water in the evening or the morning of my stay.
