Parque Neptuno

Parque Neptuno, near Parque de la Exposición and the Paseo de la República in Cercado de Lima, is listed in cruising guides as a long-standing, low-key gay cruising area. It's an open public park, and what activity there is happens after dark and quietly. Central Lima has a real petty-crime problem at night: carry little, keep your phone out of sight and use a booked taxi or app ride rather than walking out of the area. Same-sex conduct is legal in Peru, but public discretion is expected. Information on current activity is thin, so treat this as a lead rather than a sure thing.
