Tunupa Lodge Hotel

Wish I could stay longer than the 4 glorious nights we stayed here. So peaceful and beautiful. Rooms are large with shampoo, soap, many towels, and gorgeous views from the balcony. We were lucky to have a room on the 3rd floor - very quiet. Location is perfect - close to everything.

Stayed for a night oct 2026; was just a night as we headed to MP in the morning; the hotel is inexpensive resort like feel without the amenities (2 or 3 floor buildings). It was a good stay - like others have said - the rooms are very basic with virtually no amenities but clean and reasonably quiet. The breakfast was good. Would recommend for those on a budget and looking for something within walking distance of both town and the train station.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooms, and beautiful property. Main street can be loud in the evenings, but subsides by bed time. Beds are marvelous!

Very good hotel. The room with a view has a beautiful view. The breakfast is very good and varied.

Definitely worth staying at if you’re catching the train. The station is a 5 minute walk. Our 2nd floor room had 3 queen beds. It was very spacious. The balcony was great, you could see alpacas from it which was really cool! The room was very clean.

Rooms are spacious. Would have been nice to have another mirror outside of the bathroom for sharing with multiple people. Great location to town and walking to train for Machu.
