Sugar Bear は、モントリオールで春に開催されるベア・ウィークエンドです。毎年「Mr. Bear Montréal」コンテストを手がける地元企業 Bear-It が運営しています。ヴィレッジのバーシーンとメープルシロップ採取シーズン（シュガーシャック）を掛け合わせたイベントであり、フランネルシャツ、メープルシロップ、そして多くのヒゲが見られることでしょう。
プログラムは単一の会場ではなく、ヴィレッジにある複数のバーに分散して行われます。2025年（4月10日から13日）には、Black Eagle でのミート＆グリートで幕を開け、金曜日には Stock Bar で Mr. Bear Montréal コンテストを開催し、その後アフターパーティーのために Stud へと参加者を導きました。土曜日には、Aigle Noir でのソーシャルイベント、G.I. Joe でのバスハウスパーティー、Lion d'Or での Pitbull's Bear Playground に観客が分かれました。日曜日には、シュガーシャックでのブランチと Cocktail でのドラッグショーで閉幕しました。
一部のイベントは無料ですが、他は個別にチケットを購入する必要があります。2025年には、コンテストが25ドル、Bear Playground が40ドル、ブランチが50ドルでした。会場間を歩いて移動できるよう、ヴィレッジ内またはその近くにご宿泊ください。
Bear-It は、2027年の開催を4月7日から11日と発表しています。2026年の週末の正確な日程については確認できませんでした。
