GRIS-Montréal

GRIS-Montréal (Groupe de recherche et d'intervention sociale) is a nonprofit that runs LGBTQ+ education in schools. Trained volunteers visit classrooms across greater Montreal, from primary schools to colleges, and share their own coming-out stories. Students can then ask them questions directly. The group also collects survey data from these sessions, which it uses in research on attitudes toward LGBTQ+ people. The office is at 3155 rue Hochelaga in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve.
