Rainbow Resource Centre

Rainbow Resource Centre is Winnipeg's 2SLGBTQIA+ community organisation and one of the longest-running in Canada, with roots in the 1970s. It works out of 514 St Mary Avenue downtown and serves the whole of Manitoba. The centre provides counselling, peer support, education for schools and workplaces, and programs for queer and trans youth, older adults and newcomers. It isn't a drop-in social venue, so call or check the website before turning up. For visitors it's a good first contact for local resources and community events.
