Hotel La Casa de la Marquesa

I only visited the restaurant. I expected a place more in keeping with the magnificent building. Despite the excellent service from the staff, I found the ambiance unattractive, and the food presentation didn't suit the setting. The food itself was good.

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL. Yesterday, they tried to extort me there. They started calling my personal cell phone around 11 PM. When I saw the number of calls, I didn't get them until I woke up this morning. I answered, and they said my full name, claiming to be from reception and that there was going to be a raid at the hotel. They said I had to leave and that they were warning me for my protection. Obviously, I hung up. I told the reception staff what had happened, but they claimed to know nothing about it and to have no involvement, when they are clearly in on it. Where else could they have gotten my personal information? I checked out, and of course, they didn't refund me anything for the four nights I had already paid for. I only stayed one night. Be careful; they are leaking information, or they have people there who are leaking information to the extortionists. Management, please do something; the safety and peace of mind of your guests are being affected. I didn't fall for it thanks to experiences shared by friends and family, but others could.

The house is a work of art, we love going to the restaurant, the pianist Mr. Ricardo is an incredible person, one of the best in Querétaro

A mansion converted into a hotel in downtown Querétaro. Super clean, soft, and comfortable linens. Air conditioning. Plenty of privacy.
