Identity, Inc. (Identity Alaska)

Identity, Inc. (Identity Alaska) is the LGBTQ+ community centre and advocacy organisation in Anchorage, serving the whole state. It dates back to the late 1970s. It runs peer support groups, youth programming and education, and operates an LGBTQ+ helpline. In 2021 it opened the Identity Health Clinic, a non-profit clinic focused on LGBTQ+ health. The office is at 307 East Northern Lights Boulevard, Suite 101. Alaska's LGBTQ+ community is small and spread out, so for visitors and new arrivals the centre is the most practical way to find out about current events and groups.
