Hilton Garden Inn Clovis

Shouldn’t have Hilton in the name. Rude receptionist and terrible customer service. Basically a more expensive Motel 6 with nothing better than a Motel 6

Currently under renovation, but clean.

Renovations in progress. But we got a nice room recently renovated. It's a work in progress

One of the worst if not the worst experience with Hilton I’ve had. Half of the amenities are closed meaning no business center, no gym half the doors aren’t working, there is active construction going on. The room I booked wasn’t available anymore so I had to be downgraded. The staff weren’t helpful at all and refuse to take any responsibility when it’s literally on the Hilton website policies. It looks like they have been having problem for months now, that isn’t not knowing, that is straight up neglect. There are like holes on the ceiling, the WiFi sucks, the AC doesn’t work very well. Hilton rooms are usually pretty average and that’s why I always book them but this was just an overall terrible experience. There is a reason their score is so low and they are constantly vacant.

While this hotel does have good food our first room didn’t even have a faucet and we got moved to a different room with no phone the hair dryer does not work but it is dog friendly and has comfortable beds but we couldn’t get a 1st floor room for my handicapped grandma and it made it harder for her to get around

Room air-conditioning didn't work. No hot water. Dirty for a Hilton. Front desk had lights shut off to walk out so it was very dark and dude was sound asleep at desk.

Comfortable, and relaxing stay.

I work as a flight attendant for a major airline, so I often stay at hotels and resorts around the world during layovers. On a recent stop in Fresno, California, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Clovis, a charming hidden gem. Our experience there was fantastic and went beyond what we expected. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. When our hotel shuttle driver, Chappel, picked us up at the airport, he greeted us like family. He acknowledged that we were weary travelers and immediately loaded our bags, saying, “I’ll get you guys to the hotel as quickly as possible so you can get some rest.” Check-in was easy and fast, so we could head straight to our comfortable rooms. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name of the front desk staff member who helped us. The next morning, I wanted some coffee but realized I was out of regular coffee pods. I called the front desk, and within seconds, Miss Erma from housekeeping arrived at my door with a smile and a friendly greeting. Later, I went to the restaurant to order breakfast to go. I received an immediate warm greeting from Miss Shantel (server and hostess extraordinaire ). She took my order and directed me to the beverage station while I waited. When my order was delivered, she made sure I had all the proper condiments and everything I needed for my meal. I did not have to ask her for anything! It was all there. Shout out to Louis, the culinary genius, who prepared my meal to PERFECTION! I went to the front desk to ask a question about my Hilton Honors account and spoke with Avy, the receptionist. She was highly knowledgeable, professional, and eager to help. She addressed my question and asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I write this review in great detail because I want to highlight and recognize excellence in a world where mere decent-level customer service is almost nonexistent – especially in the hospitality industry. It is evident that team members at this property love what they do and the guests they serve. It shows in their actions and their words. Additionally, this commitment to excellence is no accident; it reflects this organization's leadership. Kudos to them – shout-out to Daniele (I hope I got your name right; if not, my apologies). Thank you, Team Hilton Garden Inn Clovis! Keep up the great work. I can’t wait to return.

Miyana is an excellent professional; she was attentive and dedicated and helped us a lot.
