I had a very disturbing experience at this hostel and ultimately had to leave in the middle of the night because I no longer felt safe. The first night was already extremely noisy due to large groups of students, making it almost impossible to sleep. However, the second night was much more serious. A guest in our dorm was behaving very erratically, talking to himself and making it impossible for the room to sleep. We contacted the staff twice, but no effective solution was provided. Later that night, another guest arrived and an altercation started over the beds. While I was trying to explain what had happened, this guest, who appeared intoxicated, approached me, touched my face without my consent. At that point, I did not feel safe remaining in the dorm and left the hostel around midnight/1 a.m. I took an Uber to the airport, but because the airport was closed, I eventually had to call 911 for assistance and find somewhere else to stay until morning. I reported everything to the hostel staff before leaving and a ticket was opened. I also called the property three times afterward asking to speak with the manager. Despite these attempts, I was never able to actually speak with the manager or obtain a satisfactory resolution. I understand that hostels cannot control every guest's behavior. However, they are responsible for responding appropriately when a serious situation is reported. In my case, despite contacting staff multiple times, I was left in a situation where I felt unsafe enough that leaving in the middle of the night seemed like my only option. For that reason, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hostel.

In previous years it's been good, but this year, 2026, everything is terrible. The rooms with air conditioning don't work, and they assign them anyway. The breakfast is extremely poor; there's only coffee to drink at the entrance, not even a bottle of water, and the service is awful.

Dirty room. Cheap, dirty furniture. Rusty bed frames and bathroom shelving. No towels or washclothes in bathroom. ...well, one washcloth. Reserved private room and wound up with 2 bunk beds and an old, outdated couch. Poor overhead lighting in room with no way to adjust brightness. No lamps, just bright lights on ceiling. Windows poorly painted and dirty with dirty, dusty, inoperable window blinds on doors and windows. Rude, dismissive staff. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND Worst place ever a nightmare, ants walking of the breakfast pastries and when I signal that they just took 1 of the cinnamon rolls out, the bagels with molds, cockroach everywhere some bigs ones, old building, dirty pool, one of the housekeepers a man open my room in the middle of the day while I was taking a nap and he didn’t even apologized, people who are working there are so rude, came back home with bed bugs bites, house keeping don’t even actually clean they just change the pillow cases and take the trash out. Only good thing is the location, but honestly it’s not worth it at all, better go somewhere else.
