Mad Hatter Lounge on North Dixie Highway is Lake Worth Beach's gay bar, a distinction it earned in 2025 when OutSFL named it the only LGBTQ bar in town. It's a low-key neighborhood spot, not a club, with pool tables and a patio where you can catch themed nights like Leather Night on Sundays and Thirsty Thursdays. The bar's also hosted its share of events, including Palm Beach Pride kick-off and wrap-up parties, as well as fundraisers for Compass, the local LGBTQ+ center. You can stop by every day from noon to 2am. It's a little over a mile north of the Lake Avenue strip, so you'll want to drive or grab a ride rather than walking.

Once a month, they have a sunday brunch. Best breakfast around. Amazing place to go to have a few drinks with some friends. Everything's casual, everybody 's happy. No one bothers you. Love this place.

My first time visiting this place I seen nothing but men, and only one African American woman. They should rename this spot MANhatta 🤨 because that's the only thing you will see here. I guess thats ok, men should have a place to feel safe also. The bartender is nice, and the drinks are lovely. The atmosphere is not my flow at all sorry. I will continue to try to find me a bar for gay lesbian women, as well as gay men. Maybe something that has a mixture of them both. The place is nicely decorated though. I sat at the bar the whole time, but could see there was an outside part. This place is worth a try.
