Probably went at a wrong time, close to closing, and I didn’t enjoy any of my meal. Even the piece of my favorite cake tasted stale. Because I have been here before, I know they can do better.

Bottom line: 3 out of 5 stars—a solid tavern, but no legendary find. And very expensive. Sherman’s Deli & Bakery kept our adventuring party well fed, but the overall experience didn’t score a critical hit. Not bad, but not a place I’d cross the desert for. Fine for a quick rest stop—though next time, a few extra skill points in flavor, free WiFi and charisma would help.
