This was our first time visiting Provincetown and we felt like we picked the best place! The staff was super friendly and gave us some great advice on what we should do with our 2 and a half days in Ptown (art, food, hiking, and museums). The complimentary breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed cocktail hour in the evening as well. The Inn is in an older building, but was tastefully decorated and felt very authentic. Our room was clean and had a view of the Pilgrim monument! Accessibility wasn't a problem for us, but if that's a concern for you I would call to arrange a room on the first floor. The Innkeeper, Courtney, spent a lot of time talking with us about what its like being in Ptown year round and what the town is like at different times of the year. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (extra towels, special dietary needs, etc.). It wasn't very busy when we were there, so perhaps we received special attention, but I have a feeling she treats all of her guests with the same attentiveness. In terms of location, I'm not sure you could do any better. The inn is right on busy commercial street but sits at almost at the center of east and west, with the quieter arts district to one side and the busier shops and restaurants to the other. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere with ease. (we are reasonably fit women in our mid 40's, but a google search will show you that there's tons of stuff within a close walking distance if you are more challenged in terms of mobility). Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again.

Thank you to Courtney and her amazing team! I felt like a welcomed and appreciated guest from the moment I walked in the door at Somerset House. My room was nicely appointed with welcome chocolates, cold water in the fridge and both a fireplace and a mini split so whatever the weather the temps were perfect and 24/7 water, tea, coffee, and charming sitting areas inside and out made this the perfect stay for a girl's getaway weekend. We loved loved loved the breakfasts and how the location was ideal in being close to the thick of things but not in the middle of town so it was still cozy and quiet. This was absolutely a 5 star stay and I will definitely return AND recommend Somerst House to all my friends. 🧡

I've stayed here twice now and can't imagine staying anywhere else in PTown. Courtney and her team are amazing and made me feel so welcome, like part of the family. My room (Frankenthaler) was absolutely lovely. I can't wait to go back again in 2027.

Somerset house is the kind of place that you want to return to before you even leave. Saying good bye was tough. Courtney was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay enjoyable. She offered great recommendations. The rooms were spotless and decorated with charm. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were so soft. Breakfast was Stuffed blueberry french toast with turkey sausages delicious. We will be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ptown.

Have stayed in several places in Ptown but this is probably my favorite among some really great options. While the bigger ones might have spas or pools, this one has Courtney whose welcome and hospitality make it seem like going to stay in the quaintest, warmest, coziest, beautifully appointed friend's house. (Just came back from a few post Christmas days there!) She takes great care of her guests from the delicious rotating homemade breakfast menu to the wine hour in the evening, to chatting about town events and activities and recommending favorite places to eat. Deeply in love with this place, the great vibes, and the phenomenal, friendly host and great staff. Can't wait to go back again! Highest recommendation to Courtney, Somerset House, and her staff. The table in the dining room is a great place to gather, talk with Courtney and the other guests, and enjoy some social time with the friendly and interesting people who are there! Book now!

Located right on Commercial Street, you are in the middle of all the action. The service, the food, the accommodations were beyond great. The owner, Courtney, was incredibly kind and welcoming. It’s easy to see that she loves her work and is a fantastic hostess. I’ve already planned my trip for 2026!

We stayed at Somerset House Inn this past week and our experience was phenomenal. Courtney and her staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. The inn is very cozy and clean and is right on the beach on commercial st in an incredible location. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back next year. We come here at least once a year. Courtney and her staff are always friendly, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is great. Happy hour is often the highlight if our day. Love it here. It’s definitely our happy place. Highly recommended.

Our time at Somerset House Inn in P-town was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better location and surrounding area. But the real highlight was the owner and staff – they were simply the most kind, friendly, heartwarming, and helpful people. Their genuine warmth made our stay unforgettable. We're definitely going to be back!
