Courtyard St. Paul Downtown

Regular rooms are a bit small and lack some common amenities. Beds are comfortable, pillows are meh, AC is a bit loud, rooms are clean, and overall a solid place to stay if seeing a concert or going to a game at the arena. If parking, it is mandatory valet with open in and out, and they are pretty quick.

Stayed overnight for a concert. Typical nice courtyard experience but the staff was exceptional. Security guard Ray was the man. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Give the guy a raise. Manager Jessica was also great. Best hotel staff I’ve experienced in years.

My room was not ready and got one at 5.00 pm. The people are nice but price is way higher than it is worth. Coffee in the room is bad quality and parking charge is very high. Make sure you check all these ahead of time.

Very nice new hotel near everything in downtown st. Paul.

Most everything was great except I hung the do not disturb sign on door but apparently it doesn’t apply to cleaning lady that obviously went in my room. It’s not that I don’t like made beds or freshened towels but I don’t like people in my room when I’m still occupying the room with all my things still in there. Luckily nothing seems to be missing but I was not happy about that.

Where do I begin? I guess the easiest place to start is that hands down the service here was phenomenal. I have stayed all over the world and this staff was outstanding. Everyone I encountered from the valet to the front desk, Smorgies, the breakfast bar, even staff I just encountered in the hall. They were all not only professional but also so kind and accommodating. It is evident that whoever is leading this team is remarkable and intentional about promoting the tenants of good customer service. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and the hotel amenities are very nice. Good at Smorgies was delicious (and they stay home to 1am) as was breakfast at the breakfast bar. Great location also. I'll be traveling back to SP later this year and it's a no brainer where I'll be staying - I've already booked my room. If the term Minnesota nice was a hotel it would the Courtyard by Marriott St. Paul Downtown. Thank you for providing me a great guest experience.

Great hotel! Would 100% recommend! We stayed there 2 nights mid week for a concert at Grand Casino Arena. Right across the street. They have valet parking. We walked everywhere we needed to go. The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly!

I had a great stay! Super clean and spacious room. Front desk was always friendly and greeted me every time I came in. The valet is quick to get your car when you give them a 5 minute heads up. Location is right across be arena where a lot of bars and restaurants are. Overall, a great stay!
