SpringHill Suites St. Paul Downtown

Great for arena events.

The room was very comfortable, functional, and spacious. They accommodated me with an early checking which was very nice. The breakfast was one of the best I have experienced in a chain hotel non boutique and non luxury. It's an easy walk to the Mississippi and several museums and other attractions. My only regret was i didn't find any interesting restaurants within walking distance but I really should have done more research on my part.

Want to shout out the guest services/maintenance staff. I checked in tonight with some groceries that I wanted to refrigerate but the refrigerator was completely dead. I called the guest services line asking if I could switch rooms for one with a refrigerator that worked. They said they could swap the refrigerator out. I was a little upset as I thought that they would get to it when they had time. Within 5 minutes there was a knock at the door and 5 minutes later my room had a brand new refrigerator. Unbelievable customer focus by this staff!

We always stay at Marriott properties. When we arrived my husband asked if we could check in and come back when the room was ready; the response “sir if I had a room I’d check you in”. Horrid response-someone needs customer service training and interpersonal skills. We weren’t told the rooms were only made up every other day. The bar closed at 8pm. Not a great location. The only bright spot was Hal - very personable and professional.

Their lobby & breakfast are awesome, and their desk staff is super kind and thoughtful. More businesses need training or hiring like theirs

Great budget friendly hotel in a convenient location. Seems brand new, nice communal areas incl outdoor patio, hearty free breakfast (waffle maker!). Rooms are well appointed with desks for working, sitting area and good sized bathroom, fridge & microwave. They had free waters/sunscreen/aloe gel/maps & info for the state fair. Pool is very geared to families/kids who appeared to be having a blast. Highly recommend

This place is such a hidden gem! We booked a room block here for my wedding this month and were blown away by the service, rooms, and location. We reserved the bar the night before for drinks and everyone had a lovely time. Rooms were beautiful and they offered us a deal for booking a certain number of rooms in the block, where no other hotel did. Brand new building, exceptionally clean, stylish and comfy rooms, awesome manager and staff!

Overall, I really liked the room. Everything looked nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, and I especially loved how soft the sheets were. The last two Courtyards I stayed at had very rough sheets, so the soft bedding here was definitely appreciated. The shower also had great water pressure. The only issue I had was with the top comforter. While lying in bed, I kept noticing an unpleasant, old smell and eventually realized it was coming from the comforter. It smelled like it may not have been freshly washed. I wasn’t going to leave a review over the smell alone, but the next afternoon after coming back from work, I noticed two hairs on the comforter as well, which made me question how clean it actually was. The room was honestly close to perfect otherwise, which is why this was disappointing. Everything else appeared very clean and comfortable, but the smell and hairs on the comforter definitely took away from an otherwise great stay.

Excellent hotel. Staff super profesional. Clean, neat. Safe and great location. Rooms super big. Sofa bed too.

Stayed here for the Yacht Club festival; superb staff and accommodations. The little extra touches were so sweet! Plus the shuttle less than a block away is 🤌chefs kiss🤌
