Jolene's

Jolene's is a queer bar and restaurant at 16th and Bryant in the Mission, run mainly for LGBTQ+ women, trans and non-binary people. San Francisco has lost almost all of its lesbian bars, and this is one of the few spaces of its kind left. The Lesbian Bar Project has featured it. It serves food earlier in the evening, then turns into a bar with DJ, dance and drag nights later on. The neon "You Are Safe Here" sign by the bar is a popular photo spot. Weekend nights can mean a line and a cover charge for events. We have no opening hours on file, so check its social media for the current schedule.
