Columbia Restaurant

I was so excited to share this experience with my son and partner! It did not disappoint! So good!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always a Breathtaking Experience! After attending a Candlelight concert in Ybor City, we topped off our evening with dinner at the legendary Columbia Restaurant—and as always, it was nothing short of exceptional! As someone who works hard every day restoring pavers across Central Florida, getting away for a night of great music and top-tier dining is standard-setting downtime. Columbia never disappoints. The historic ambiance is unmatched, making every visit a memorable occasion. She went with their famous 1905 Salad (prepared tableside, and as incredible as ever), and I had the Stuffed Grouper, which was cooked to absolute perfection. From the rich history and atmosphere to the world-class food and service, anytime we can make it to Columbia, it’s a wonderful, unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience in a private room for a work dinner. Food presentation was lovely, timing was perfect. Appetizers, bread and salad 10/10. I did think bacon wrapped filet could’ve been better seafood paella was good. The flan for dessert was the best I’ve ever had. Bar service 10/10. Yazmine, our server, was one of the best servers I’ve ever had, superior service. Thank you for a lovely evening. Perfect location. Ybor is a fun part of Tampa to visit and experience.

Eating here is an event. The service is formal, yet friendly. The building has a crazy amount of character. The food did not disappoint. The bread comes out piping hot and provides a thin crispy later. The Old Fashion was solid to top the meal off.

Mr. John Ponzo is a wonderful manager. He gives Excellent customer service. Always stops by our table to greet us and say hello. He’s one in a million. Our food today was fabulous, so fresh and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you again, John!!

This is my second visit to the restaurant. The service was exquisite, and I ordered paella, which was super delicious, and it was my first time. The drinks were also great. The only downside I didn't like was that my husband ordered ropa vieja, and it seems they didn't have any more than that. They only served him onions and chili peppers in the meat sauce, but he only had three small pieces of meat, which was disappointing because the last time I ordered it, they served a generous portion, and it was really good.

Very beautiful & nice restaurant. The famous salad was absolutely delicious as were the black bean cake tapas. & The Cuban bread with real butter--yummmmm!!!

Everything was excellent, very good service, I highly recommend the ham croquettes, they're delicious!

In the top 5 best meal experiences we both can remember having, and a big part of that was our amazing server, Jacob. He helped make it more than just a meal. We learned the history of the building, the owner's (who we met) family, the food, and Ybor City. Great atmosphere and the food was spectacular! Do NOT skip the 1905 salad, it has a wow factor plus. My wife's seafood cannelloni was decadent ... lobster, shrimp, and scallops - please! Probably the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. The Giant Soup is a flavor bomb. Finally, the white chocolate bread pudding is unlike any bread pudding you've ever tried. It is rich & creamy, more like a flan. We will be back ... and asking for Jacob!
