We loved our visit to the historical city of Rishon LeTzion. Our stay at the Rephael House Hotel just made our stay complete with its perfect atmosphere, excellent location, lovely staff and impeccably clean and well outfitted rooms. For breakfast, we received vouchers at a nearby cafe which was run by a delightful couple who are "old timers" from Rishon LeTzion. The hotel is a MUST STAY at place for anyone coming to this special city

The hotel is located in the center of the pedestrian zone. Parking services for hotel guests - paid. The rooms are small and not luxurious. (Superior room). The bed linen in the room is not ironed. When I asked for a bar stool for the room (for the benefit of makeup before an event) I was told that there were no chairs available, only for those who bought a "bridal package" for 2200 shekels. There is no breakfast at the hotel. They give a voucher for cafes nearby and an unreasonable additional cost. At 4 am we were woken up by the sounds of other guests slamming doors on the floor. Despite our request, we were not allowed to have any peace. We arrived at the hotel for a stay before and after our son's wedding. Not recommended. Expensive beyond measure. We will definitely not return.

Room without a phone for reception. Air conditioning not working and no safe after they came to check they did not offer us to change rooms. Breakfast not in the hotel at a cafe on the street. Very basic

Although we chose the most inexpensive room in the hotel, it was wonderful. There is a separate light for the bathroom at night, but we chose to use a nightlight we brought from home. All of the fittings are of exceptionally good quality. With a great mattress, silent heating, and noise-blocking windows, we enjoyed an excellent night's sleep. All of the desk clerks and cleaners were both efficient and nice. The clerks were more than happy to recommend certain restaurants and also tell us which to avoid. At the entrance there is a pile of modern maps of Rishon LeZion which helped us decide what to see. We also found some interesting books in the hotel's library. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the pedestrian zone. A few blocks away there is a major restaurant area, which also contains a full-sized mall, not something you expect in a downtown area. The secret? They built in on five stories. The historical museum a few blocks away was easily worth the two hours we spent there. If the hotel lot is full, there's an adjacent underground parking lot. Although the dining room is not finished, the hotel gives guests vouchers for meals at nearby restaurants. We first tried Gazoz, which was less than mediocre. Later we went to Pina Bagan, which was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. Recently I have stayed at hotels in which the blackout curtains did not do a very good job. This hotel had perfect curtains, which let in no light at all. The hotel has a conference room which can seat up to 10, and includes coffee and tea-making equipment, so I can recommend it for business as well as for tourism.

Surprise!!! Really Europe! Clean, perfect rooms. Service above and beyond expectations, atmosphere and location that you can't ask for more than that. Close parking, breakfast with a voucher at a cafe outside the hotel on the pedestrian street enhances the experience and service of the cafe owner. You can't ask for more. Small note: The glass partitions for the shower room have been seen as a method in hotels recently - unnecessary.

The old building is beautifully maintained. It's beautiful and tasteful. The staff are simply professional. Very pleasant people. All questions were answered positively. The room had an unbearable smell of air freshener. It didn't go away for two days. Everything in the room was 5-star. We celebrated a wedding and were given wine as a gift. The wooden shutters are very attractive and work well, but they are very dirty... Breakfast at the cafe outside was very weak, not worth a 1-star rating.
