Very high level service, there is a manager named Alma and after being received by Ofir, they really saved my vacation, only because of them I stayed. I am disabled, they initially gave me a room with a bathtub that was not suitable for me. They moved me to a room, helped with parking, transport of equipment, champions.
Our stay at Herods Tel Aviv was an absolute highlight of our trip to Israel. If you are looking for a hotel that combines an unbeatable oceanfront location with a unique historical atmosphere, this place is a total winner. The design of the hotel is so cool—it’s themed around 1930s Tel Aviv, with vintage decor, classic photography, and unique architectural details that give it so much character compared to standard modern hotels. It genuinely feels like stepping back in time to the early days of the White City, but with all the luxury and comforts of a modern hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a private balcony with an incredible, sweeping view of the Mediterranean Sea. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset over the water right from our room was unforgettable. The hotel amenities and service were top-tier across the board: The Location: You literally step out of the lobby right onto Gordon Beach and the bustling Tel Aviv promenade. You can easily walk to great restaurants, lively bars, and shopping spots in minutes. The Breakfast: The Israeli breakfast buffet was huge, fresh, and delicious, featuring a wide array of cheeses, fresh salads, hot dishes, pastries, and made-to-order eggs, all served with a view of the sea. The Service: The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with recommendations or directions. Whether you're visiting Tel Aviv for a relaxing beach vacation or to explore the city's incredible food and nightlife, Herods offers the perfect base. We would love to stay here again!
Staying at the Herods Hotel right on Tel Aviv’s “Golden Coast” was an absolute highlight of my vacation! The vibe here is super high-end. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, but a special shout-out goes to Natalie. She’s a lovely young lady who helped me with check-in—she was so polite and helpful. The whole hotel is spotless. The food was amazing with fresh ingredients and tons of variety. every room is a sea-view room with a balcony. Whether you’re in the lobby or the restaurant, you get to enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean view through those huge floor-to-ceiling windows. It was just so pretty and relaxing. This trip was full of pleasant surprises. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again next time!
Not so good and not recommended
I stayed at Herods Tel Aviv with my two children to celebrate the holiday, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The room was very small, outdated, and honestly not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. The pool was also small and not particularly pleasant, which made it difficult to feel like we were actually having a relaxing holiday. What was even more frustrating was the service and the amount of time we had to spend trying to get assistance. We wasted hours dealing with the situation and trying to get someone to actually address our concerns, instead of spending that time enjoying our holiday together. I did eventually receive a refund, and I appreciate that the hotel did provide one. However, a refund does not give us back the hours we wasted or change the experience we had. I came with my children specifically to celebrate the holiday and enjoy some quality time together. Unfortunately, instead of a relaxing and enjoyable stay, we spent a significant part of our time dealing with disappointment and trying to get proper assistance. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations in terms of the room, the facilities, or especially the service.
We were at the Rosh Hashanah holiday evening from Friday until Sunday 11th to 13th/9 We received the rooms. We quickly got into a shaky and dirty elevator after a 15-minute wait for the elevator. A dirty room, a dirty balcony, the water in the toilet won't flush. We went to the pool, you can't get into water colder than an ice bath, holiday meal, food fit for a king, all the meats are cold, wonderful salads, crazy density of people, holiday breakfast fit for a king, a crazy gift for omelets, second holiday evening meal similar and worse than the first holiday evening, the food is cold again. The dining room managers and waiters provide excellent service. The reception service is the worst. You ask for a towel, shampoo, maintenance, to fix the toilets, no one comes, and they don't even apologize. Shame on you. Last time, Patel.
Hotel to avoid!! A disaster on every level. The maintenance of the hotel is truly catastrophic, cleanliness is not a word known in their vocabulary, the service is extremely shameful, no solution was found for us other than promising us things without action. A disgrace. Let's not even talk about the cleaning that wasn't done for 2 days, and that 2 days later they dared to give us torn sheets.
A simply not good experience, neglected rooms, the television didn't work and wasn't fixed
"I'll start with Ms. Amy, 'Public Relations Manager,' as she described herself - the least service-oriented there is, arrogant, speaks disgustingly, and belittles the customer." Trying to take more and more money (hundreds of shekels) from Sabbath-keeping guests who in total requested the room for two more hours until the end of the Sabbath. And all of this in a condescending and arrogant tone. In addition, the hotel does not allow parking for its guests!! Even though they have a parking lot! And if there is space, it is only for the barbers and they charge their guests 150 NIS per day for parking!!! And this is only possible for Mercedes owners and up, so their neighbors said. In terms of the facilities, the hotel is old, it hasn't been renovated or updated. The furniture in the rooms is peeling, old!! Rusted and peeling can, toilet with clogs, broken sliding closet, cracked and broken floor parquet. That was also the conversation and the feeling of the guests around the pool. Not enjoyed and disappointment. In short, stay at average or below!!!!! I do not recommend it and I will not come here again, that's for sure.
From August 6th to August 11th, I was with a friend at the Rhodes Hotel Tel Aviv. Each of us had a room. We were on the 6th floor. The food, I have no complaints, it was delicious, plentiful, and had many styles. My problem is the cleanliness, which is below any review. The toilets, all night long, were full of bugs that I was afraid to enter, and I even took pictures. The sink is wide, but the water collects even from brushing teeth and doesn't drain quickly. The toilet rocks. And you have to flush several times for the waste to go through. They don't clean the floors in the rooms; the floor is very sticky. The cleaners, in my opinion, are Indians who come with a small portable box that has cleaning agents and a single toilet brush in which they clean all the toilets in the rooms. I also took pictures of this. Once, I left a note not to enter the room and went to eat. I returned and found the cleaner in my room while I had money and jewelry on the shelf. I yelled at the manager. Although nothing was stolen, it is outrageous. When they clean, they don't pick up the shampoos I used in the bathroom. They don't dust the balcony; in short, it's disgusting. Additionally, in the lounge, my friend and I sat to drink, and she ate a slice with jam, and the small jar emptied, and she took it in her bag to wash and put beads or buttons in it. The guy who worked there said he saw her put it in her bag, and it was in front of everyone. I went to him and told him to be ashamed if he has something to say, not in front of everyone. We also showed him the bag. I told him I would tell Shachar Aka, a family member and CFO of the Patel chain. He got nervous and started apologizing. He also works in the dining room, a tall and healthy Arab man. The entrance is very dirty, the tables and everything looks neglected. I have pictures. I also spoke with Shachar, who told me to write the review. It's a real shame, all the staff are wonderful and nice except for what happened to me in the lounge. The lounge is very sparse compared to other hotels I visit. We were in Eilat for 10 months, and there the cleanliness is felt in every corner, and even the floors, the
