Eurovision Song Contest Asia
O tym wydarzeniu
The first-ever Eurovision Song Contest Asia is a one-night Grand Final in Bangkok on Saturday 14 November 2026 at One Bangkok Forum, the new arena in the One Bangkok complex on Wireless Road. Eleven countries send one song each: Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Mongolia. Each country picked its entry in a televised national final between August and October (Aina Abdul for Malaysia, CARMELLE for the Philippines, JUNHEE for Korea, Nyendra for Bhutan among them), so the line-up is set well before showtime. The contest is run by the European Broadcasting Union with Voxovation, S2O Productions and Thailand's Channel 3; there are no semi-finals in this first edition.
For queer travellers this is the Eurovision formula transplanted to the most LGBTQ+-friendly capital in Asia: Thailand has had marriage equality since January 2025, Bangkok Pride draws hundreds of thousands each June, and Silom Soi 4 and Soi 2 (DJ Station) are a 15-minute taxi from the arena. Expect fan-club parties and bar screenings around Silom on contest week; the organisers have not announced an official EuroClub or Eurovision Village, so check the official site and this page for updates closer to November.
Tickets are sold through eurovisionasia.com (megatix is the ticketing partner, Agoda the accommodation partner). Suvarnabhumi (BKK) is 35-45 minutes away by Airport Rail Link plus BTS/MRT to Phloen Chit or Lumphini; Don Mueang (DMK) serves the low-cost carriers. Mid-November is the start of Bangkok's cool season, so it is also simply a good time to be in town.
