LOOK ME 京都 Bar

Everyone is super friendly! We had a lot of fun even though we couldn't speak Japanese, the staff did their best to understand and chat with us They drew a very cute sloth for us because we told them we're from Costa Rica

Ladies only, women only, that's a lie. There are men there and they won't kick you out. There's only one restroom. I've been there a few times, but I'll never go again. If it's not only, don't write "Only."

I found this place by accident after having dinner at a restaurant nearby on New Years Day. I wondered in right when the bar opened so it was just me and the bartender. She was super cute and friendly. We chatted for a while over Google translate which was such an interesting and cool experience as neither of us spoke the other’s language. It genuinely felt like I was in a movie. The drinks were good and decently priced. I wasn’t in a meet-cute movie but the meet was cute!

I am visiting feom ireland and found this cool little bar look me i loved it so much i went for 3 nights in a row in my stay in kyoto both the staff and other customers were so kind and friendly i made a lot of new friends in the pub i really enjoyed my time here . Thank you girls of bar look me for a fun time in kyoto and making me feel very welcome

We ordered just a gin and tonic, took 10 mins to do it, wanted to leave and they said we couldn’t as they were “doing the drink” when they haven’t even started, plus an insane cover charge. No music, boring and overpriced, 9 dollars for a gin and tonic ha

The worsy experience. Cover charge for the only lesbian bar plus the drinks are super expensive and no music. Just a scam!

From the get go, the atmosphere was inviting and very inclusive. Advertised as a “women’s only” bar, they welcomed my NB partner with open arms. We shared laughs and drinks with the other patrons and the bartender. The bartender was funny and a GREAT singer! A delightful spot for those looking for great drinks (only ¥800 per drink!) and maybe a bit of karaoke if you ask ☺️

We were enchanted by Bar Look Me! The bar staff and the regulars were friendly and inclusive. We had such a great night we returned the following night too! Drinks are good. There is an English menu and we felt very welcome. I hope to go back one day :) :)

Friendly staff but a bit quiet. I guess that's normal outside of Tokyo.

I have visited this bar yesterday Staff is super nice and friendly, it was a pleasure to talk with them🥰🥰 Also, I want to thank a girl who have helped me a lot, but I don’t know her name I lost the last train to Osaka and she has helped me with taxi arrangement You have big heart and beautiful soul, thank you so much! I was nervous about going alone, but I was in Kyoto for a month and went back to Lookme around 5 times! The bartenders and regulars are so friendly and it's such a safe, welcoming space for foreigners and japanese. Sometimes there's karaoke or a special event, and the drinks menu is fun and tasty. It's a small space but it has a great atmosphere and cute deco. I will miss it!

I went to a bien bar for the first time! The atmosphere was great and the mocktails were delicious. I would recommend it even to people who don't drink alcohol.
