The bartender was incredibly friendly and attentive. He gave us some great recommendations for onsen (hot springs). He accommodated our individual drink requests and had a stimulating conversation with us. We felt completely at ease and would definitely go back.

I visited last november all the way from México. The owner and waiters were so kind and the vibe over all was great! People seemed to have a great time there! Highly recommended if you're visiting.

I visited with my boyfriend in November. The bartender was so nice to us, he spoke good English. But the mix of tourists and locals was nice. He recommended a really good curry udon restaurant. It was a nice friendly place to spend an evening after dinner. Kyoto doesn't have much nightlife so places like this are the best!

I spoke all the English and Japanese I knew very well, but I still admire the Japanese craftsmanship. They even called a car for me and waited with me at the door. I don't see what there is to complain about.

Had a chill time Monday night in Kyoto. Rin was very friendly, welcoming and accomodating! Drinks are well priced. Rin even let us try some Shoyu! The bar also has karaoke if you are keen, otherwise great selection of JPOP in the background ❤️

A highly recommended bar for both locals and tourists. There's a 1000 yen cover charge which includes a snack, plus a first drink starting at 800 yen. The bartenders (Rin, Ren & Kenta ❤️) are super friendly, and even though they didn't understand English very well, we communicated using Google Translate.
