If you and your friends are looking for somewhere to go in Kyoto at night, this is a great spot. Although it's small, it's a popular place for both foreigners and locals to drink, chat, and get to know each other. Importantly, the bartenders are very friendly and speak fluent English. I had a wonderful evening here! Average cost per person: JPY 5,000-6,000. Food: 3 stars, Service: 5 stars, Atmosphere: 5-5 stars.

The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the bartender speaks fluent English and is very welcoming, and he'll even help recommend food and call a taxi. Locals and tourists alike gather here, chatting easily, and there's even karaoke to liven things up—it's a perfect place to spend an evening in Kyoto!

The best place I've ever been! The waiter, host, and everyone else were so attentive and incredibly kind. He even played me the playlist of openings and endings I wanted to hear! He was so sweet. He took me back to my childhood and is so happy for who I am! If you're gay and a geek, this is the place for you!
