Good for traveling single people. Accommodations are quite good, I really liked the beds and the friendly staff.

The rooms were dark, and the toilets were tiny. I regretted it a bit on my first day, finding it hard to believe I'd be staying six days. But later I realized it was alright; the sinks and bathrooms were kept very clean. The staff made regular rounds, which I appreciated. Breakfast wasn't necessary; there were plenty of good restaurants nearby. I regret not heeding previous reviews. I stayed six days, and breakfast was the same every day, except for three different soups that rotated. Eventually, I got tired of it and preferred to skip the hotel breakfast altogether (even though I'd paid in advance). Before staying here, I was looking forward to watching movies in bed with the projector, but I discovered it required a bunch of cables and didn't support Bluetooth. With so many wires around my head and my headphones restricted, it was difficult to watch movies comfortably and there was no sense of relaxation. In short, it was just a novel experience. The common area is mostly used by outside guests, not just hotel guests. Therefore, sometimes there weren't enough seats to use the common areas. They only offer free sheet changing for stays of seven days or more. However, the movable beds make the sheets easily shift, and the mattress pad underneath also moves. By the third day, I couldn't stand it anymore and had to pay extra to have the sheets changed. I recommend offering sheet changing service for stays of three consecutive days. The location is super convenient; everything is within easy reach – shopping and dining are all nearby.

Nice living and bed, quiet enough

Used for sightseeing. Aside from the breakfast not being very good, it was convenient and affordable, so I was happy with it. ▼Good points - Good access. - The price is cheap considering the convenient access. - The free towel rental with no limit on the number of uses is great. ▼Bad points - Since it's a maisonette, if you prefer a cheap hotel with a private room, I recommend other hotels. - Please note that the breakfast is not very good. It's better to eat out.

Fantastic experience here. Rooms were high tech and comfortable. Showers were super nice. The staff were amazing, especially the night crew on the 5th. Super friendly and made our check in seamless. Only complaint would be that the dryer doesn't work very well.

Great location with easy connections to major tourist sports in Kyoto, Cozy rooms with friendly staff and tonnes of restaurants and shopping places around!

An exceptional pod hotel. And a big shout out to the excellent staff, from the front desk to the cleaning crew. They really do a great job. Hey boss, you should give them a raise!

Quite surprised to have such capsule like a small room, can have own privacy and change the cloth by standing in front of mirror. Able to keep your luggage under the bed and small locker to keep your important or valuable thing. The restroom and shower are clean and well maintained. The lounge has free water, ice cube and tea bag provided. Their lounge also function as coworking space,quite cozy and quiet. The staff is friendly and nice, able to communicate with simple English. Plus point is the location is strategic as it surrounding the shops and restaurants, won’t feel unsafe and convenient to go for shopping,. One suggestion is to have this house rule that don’t tidy up the luggage in the early morning or after 10pm as it is quite annoying to others who is light sleeper. Overall, highly recommend to stay especially for female solo traveller.

I had a wonderful time here. I was traveling alone and it was my first time in Japan. I was warmly and sincerely welcomed. The hotel was comfortable, spacious, safe, and private. Everything was convenient, and the central location was great. But the best thing was the professional service and the dedication and kindness of the staff. It gave me a glimpse into Japanese culture; they are so dedicated, sincere, humble, and kind. They do even the smallest things with a generous heart. I have beautiful memories here and will definitely come back! Thank you!
