While foreigners might rate it a perfect 100, Japanese people would probably find it inferior to a regular hotel or even a love hotel in terms of cleanliness and smell. Even considering the low price and the presence of a hot spring, this is an evaluation made in light of the availability of high-quality options like Super Hotel. However, I think most Japanese people wouldn't rate this hotel highly.

Since it used to be a love hotel, there's no one at check-in. You go up the stairs. The stairs are narrow. The room is very nice. The chair is hard and uncomfortable. In the room I stayed in, the toilet and bathroom were separate. The bathroom was clean, very spacious, and nice. There was also an electrical outlet next to the bed. There was also a free drink bar. I'll talk about the drinks.

Used as a base for visiting the four shrines. The exterior is unmistakably that of a former love hotel. Although I had a 10 PM check-in plan, inquiries are only handled via the terminal at the front desk after this time, so I recommend making your breakfast selections at check-in. Breakfast offers a choice of bacon and eggs or two types of French toast. I chose the bacon and eggs, but combined with the consommé soup and coffee from the drink bar, it was a perfectly adequate breakfast. There are vending machines for alcohol and snacks. The prices are reasonable. The guest rooms have been renovated and are clean. The TV is a large, wall-mounted, movable 60-inch screen. Wonderful. The bathroom, which boasts natural hot spring water, is quite large. Unfortunately, both the bathtub and shower area have two-handle faucets. Perhaps it's unavoidable because it's hot spring water? The access to the guest rooms is via a very steep and narrow staircase, which is a negative point. The nearest convenience store is a leisurely 10-minute walk along the lakeside. If you use it with a pragmatic mindset, I think it offers good value for money. I might go again at a different time of year.

Good hotel self checkin parking clean and good bed

This hotel is located on the shores of Lake Suwa. It was originally a love hotel that was renovated and opened to the general public. The exterior and entrance are exactly like the love hotel it was before the renovation. However, the rooms and beds are surprisingly spacious, providing ample room for one person or a couple. The best part is being able to enjoy a private hot spring bath in your room without worrying about anyone else. Drinks are also unlimited. The French toast breakfast is also incredibly affordable. Its proximity to Lake Suwa makes it ideal for walks. Considering all of this, it's a very reasonably priced place to stay. Excellent value for money. If I were to nitpick, there's no convenience store nearby, which is inconvenient. Also, the stairs leading up to the rooms are a little narrow. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay.
