The place you leave, but it will never leave you from reception to all the crew I really miss this place so much
WORST HOTEL OF MY LIFE!! Do not set foot in it. I booked a villa for our wedding night Already on arrival , the hotel is very glaucous and not as in the photos then they announce the color, nobody to welcome , carry our luggage or to make us check in at the reception. Then we arrive in the suite and there same room, very sleazy and old and especially very dirty , it is not cleaned, dead insects on the ground , crumbled paint, rust, leakage and lots of broken things , this hotel is simply not maintained and lacks staff. We spend the night not very comfortable, the next morning, horrible breakfast!! Then comes the drama, something I never do , my intuition asks me to remove the sheets , and there I discover BEDBUGS and as well as traces of them ... and full of other traces of dirt that I let you discover in the photo below, that's when I decide to leave. The value for money is scandalous and is already not worthy of a 5 star, even free I will not sleep there.
Thanks to the staff, especially: Ari Cha, Tina, Jee Jee, Champ , Flook. All issues were resolved quickly. The kitchen is high. At the highest level. A simple breakfast will make the most of it. Everything is nearby: food, beaches, massages... beautiful view, romantic atmosphere, peace, quiet. Suitable for children.
Booked a 4 night stay in the private pool villa. The view was beautiful and the staff was friendly. We had an issue at our villa and they even upgraded us because they were fixing the problem! All the staff were super friendly and the manager Tina was very accommodating. One of the staff Fook went above and beyond to make our stay even better.
The villas are quite old and need to be renovated a long time ago. There were problems with water in the evenings, there was simply no water 2 days out of 8. You can also say that there is no gym; it is filled with rubbish and it is impossible to work out there. There is no such service here and there is almost no choice of breakfast menu. Maybe these were luxury villas before, but their time has passed. The only positive thing is the view. I don't recommend it.
I chose this hotel because of the good reviews and the beautiful Instagram posts. As a result, I feel like I was "tricked." The price for one night was about ¥50,000 ($335), but it's the same as a rundown business hotel in Japan. Many Japanese people stay here because of the reviews on Instagram and Google Maps, so I'm writing this review to make sure they don't get disappointed. ①Location Quiet area of Kata. Good view from the room. Convenience stores and restaurants within a 10-minute walk. ②Hardware ・Shared space Stairs from the entrance to the lobby. I had to carry my big carry bag myself. Normally, for a hotel that charges ¥50,000, there should be staff on hand in front of the entrance in a location like this, but there were none. ・Lobby & Restaurant There is no partition between the lobby and the restaurant, so you can see everything. It's a small space to have two facilities in one place. I can't relax while eating. ・Room It's just shabby. It probably hasn't been repaired since it was first built. Broken things remain broken. It was a shame to see blue tarps still laid out by the pool. There were some places where the lights didn't turn on. The pool was dirty and you couldn't get in. The floor of the terrace was cracked and it was dangerous to walk barefoot. The welcome fruit was moldy. There was only one bath towel per person. ③Food I only had breakfast, but the bread was just warmed up bagged bread from the supermarket. The dim sum was also frozen. Because of this, I had planned to use room service, but I was afraid to know the quality, so I bought ingredients at the supermarket. ④Staff Average. Only the bare minimum staff. They will help if you ask, but they won't do anything if you don't.
We booked for a pool villa for 2 nights. In the end, we had to leave in the middle after a disastrous NIGHTMARE of our honeymoon trip. Nothing was like what it was advertised or reviewed anymore. Such the things have already been gone. As of April 2023, THERE WAS NO MANAGEMENT TEAM LOOKING AFTER THIS VILLA OPERATIONS. We were told that GM and leadership positions were still unfilled. No manager on duty. There were only operational staffs working and they were clueless on their works. On the arrival, no staff attended us. We had to carry luggages down the stairs ourselves. We walked into the lobby. There was no service staff at Checkin counter, though we recognized some staffs stared at us with no further action. At the end, a guy walked to us to do a checkin and informed us that the villa was hosting Wedding events during two nights, so expected no food at the restaurants, no butler, no turning down services. In case we want to dine something, please order food delivery! We were brought to our villa which was still fine with nice ocean view but looking aged. From that moment, we realized that all the staffs were only focusing on the wedding event, and overlooked ALL OTHER GUESTs in the resort. As we tried to walk to the counter to get some helps with the ironing, we ended up waiting for 20 mins at the counter with no one reached to us, but they just standed at the wedding preparation staring at us. We ended up had to order a delivery dinner where no staff even offered us any other helps. Nightmare gradually came to us. We started to realize room defects. The in-room telephone was not working. And again, no staff at Checkin counter, all at Wedding event. We ended up had to use our cellphone to call direct to the hotel until there was one staff picking up a call for ironing and ice buckets. At 11pm, once we prepared to sleep, we realized that the air-con in the bedroom was not working anymore and the room got hot and hoter. We ended up calling to the hotel number phone. This time a staff accepted our call. His first response was "Yeah, the air-con is usually like that. Other guests had no issue!". We called again and he ended up to get into the room, saw aircon not working and offered us to move to the last vacant Family room villa (which was below our room). He brought us to inspect that room and in the end the bedroom of that Family room villa turned out similar (dry and hot). The only thing he could say was "he was sorry and he was just a night shift staff and couldnt do any other things". No technicians on duty, no manager on duty. We didn't want to move out luggage at midnight hence we decided to try sleep but at the end we had to brought ourselves to sleep at the Living room! The later day we reached to the same guy checking us in the day before. Breakfast was not even served to us. His first reaction was sorry and "he was just a normal staff not management". He in the end talked simiarly to the night shift guy, brought us to the the same Family room where the air-con was still similarly hot. He then admitted "It's all like this across rooms and there was no other villa left except this family room and the others which guests hadnt yet checked out". He mentioned that he talked to some teams of Impiana in Patong and they were okay to do the refund for the second night in case we decided not to stay, and of course we decided to checkout immediately. This stay really RUINed our Honeymoon. Sum it up, with this costly price: 1. No facility (gym, spa), no guest service, no professional butler - specifically if its the day where there are scheduled events, no food and no staff to support you. 2. Staffs were clueless. Reactive, only chosen to serve wedding guests, were unable to react to the cases professionally due to the lack of management/leadership 3. The property is detororating, depreciating and no clue for a fix. Thinking of staying here, wedding here? Think twice. AT LEAST FOR US, NO RETURN EVEN FOR FREE.
We booked this hotel for the last part of our month long honeymoon. Every hotel before this had requested a 100$ security deposit. We checked in around 7pm and the man working the desk requested $200 American dollars. We thought it was odd but gave him the money. Every other hotel gave us a receipt ( that we signed) with details of our security deposit and allowed us to take pictures for our records but this man did not give us a receipt or give us the chance to take a picture because he took it to the back so quickly. When we checked out, they said that we had only provided them with a $100 security deposit and showed us an envelope and picture with $100. These easily were forged to make it look like we gave them $100 upon check in when we definitly gave them $200. We were in a rush to the airport so unfortunately I had to rely on email to resolve the situation. They told me they would watch the camera recordings, but they didn't and then stopped answering my emails even after I followed up three different times!!! Giving them one star for this experience.
This hotel has seen better days. Pros: Rooms are very spacious Private pool overlooking the ocean is amazing Patio outside room is private and good sized Cons: Bugs coming out of wall behind sink ... this was fixed Electrical outlets were coming detached from walls For the amount of money there were no supplies such as body Lotion Electrical for Jets in pool were detached and rusted and unsafe No restaurant No bar No roomservice This hotel is very private but that is all ... go elsewhere if you want amenities
The view at this hotel is worth a million bucks. We were very lucky to have gotten an upgrade, as the room we booked had a leak. The upgraded room is super spacious, with an amazing pool and view of the ocean and beach. We were so fortunate to see the most beautiful sunsets every evening. Overall the staff have been very friendly and helpful, however we were not greeted upon arrival and leaving, and we had to carry our own suitcase (no one even offered to help) and walk down and up a lot of steps (in the humid weather). This have never happened in any hotel or resort we stayed in previously. Thus I believe the quality of service has room for improvements, yet with that being said I believe for the price they are charging it's worthy every penny. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a great view and spacious room.
