The Phoenix Hotel

The hotel is standard, very ordinary. The rooms are very small. Literally a bed and space to unpack a suitcase. Clean and tidy. No toiletries (toothbrush and toothpaste). The room is very stuffy – you open the window and it's immediately cold. The air conditioning blows on you. The hotel has a sauna and a pool – we didn't use it, but the nice girl at reception said so :)

The heater is not working

This delightful boutique hotel is located in the center of Yerevan. All the city's main attractions are within a 700-800 meter walk of the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Cascade Complex, Republic Square, the famous Vernissage market, and the Blue Mosque. The room is large with a king-size bed. A warm, comfortable, and beautiful room. The bathroom is equipped with all the amenities, including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer. The linens are changed daily. A lovely Pail robe is provided for warming up. The room has a refrigerator, cups, and a kettle! Tea, filter coffee, and cappuccino are available. Thanks to Mrs. Varduhi for the cleanliness and order of the room! Every day, hot coffee and attentive service are provided by the incomparable Karen, a smiling and kind receptionist who has proven to be my angel in Yerevan. There is also a concierge service at night. Thanks also to the beautiful and very kind Milena, always smiling and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect, the staff are lovely, and if you have any problems, they are always happy to help you.

The staff is pleasant, the location is excellent, there are some household inconveniences (poor lighting in the room, noise, there were problems with the drain several times).

I had an amazing stay at Phoenix Hotel Yerevan! The staff were very nice and accommodating, especially Keron, the male receptionist — such a friendly and helpful guy who really made my stay more pleasant. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the city, surrounded by shops, bars, and stores, making it very convenient to explore Yerevan. My room was absolutely beautiful with a modern, aesthetic design — I loved it so much! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yerevan.

Attention! The hotel is also listed as Monk House on Booking. Be careful, my friend and I booked both Monk House and Phoenix Hotel at the same time and then they forced us to cancel one reservation. Isn't that a scam? At the same time, the terminal at the reception was not working and they made me look like an idiot, saying that none of my cards worked, while they work without any problems anywhere else in Armenia.

The best place to explore Yerevan, a huge number of places are only an 8-10 minute walk away, the rooms are clean, coffee and breakfast are across the street, the administrator helped with everything, including finding a vase and everything else!

The location, the rooms and the location (and pool) makes it a perfect choice to enjoy the fascinating centre of Yerevan. Hospitality at its best.
